Thank you for very easy to watch and learn demos. I just bought one of these radios to upgrade from an Icom 7300 and, when it arrives, I will have less fear in flying it. Cheers.

This is a great review on the functionality of the FTDX101D. This has helped me make my decision on purchasing one for my shack.

Steve I always enjoy your review styles and teaching. The lack of engagement of the NR makes it appear very noisy on the computer audio. Can you engage the NR when you do another video? I saw it demonstrated at the Dayton Hamvention with the NR engaged - it is a very quiet receiver with the NR!
Might be good if you have the time/energy/availability to demonstrate as separate shorter videos the CW functionality - filtering, programming the memories, sending CW and the SSB functionality - adjusting the EQ on receive and transmit as well as storing voice messages. Thanks

Fantastic review Steve, definitely a hamburger with the lot, radios these days once you have it set up you don't have to alter much. Only disappointment with it Yaseu dropped the ball by not adding a internal power supply as I don't think many people will be taking it out on field days from the shack, definetly a possible upgrade from the 920 :) VK3CT..

How much are identical the main and sub receivers on panadapter with exactly the same settings and antenna?

Some nice sprogs every 60KHz or so (as mentioned) from that AOC monitor on your shiny new yeasu, mmmm... :)
