- In this video I showcase 10 great spots and angles on various maps that hunters can use in Hunt Showdown to help them get more kills and catch other players off-guard. Some of these angles are a little campy, but what can I say, I excel in rat gameplay. It's also just a more fun playstyle in my opinion.

How do you get on the structures?
If you're having trouble you can always go to the "Trials" mode and practice at any site you want. Maybe if the pressure of combat was gone it would help you focus on the movement. The trees specifically are easier to navigate if you spam jump while you walk up them. :)

for anyone struggling with the Nicholls prison one you gotta position yourself way in the corner with the ladder and jump on the very corner of it

I love the comments on playstyles from the Hunt community. Use cover or elevated spots and snipe? Dirty Camper/Bush Wookie! Charge into the compound and push the team? Dirty Shotgunner, no skill needed for a shotgun! The community wants the combat, but they want you to make it easier for them to kill you without you doing anything to hinder that. Play the game how you want to play and ignore the haters telling you that you suck because you didn't let them get a free kill on you.

ahhhh, i found the video that made a random teammate watch us from the ruins by Golden Acres. He didn't take nearly as many shots as you, even with a silenced weapon, and stayed long enough for the other team to scan him and snipe him. smh

where i tend to really struggle is mid range outside fights
i am HORRIBLE at keeping my sights on a player in trees and constantly lose track of the player to an embarrasing degree like i need to duck and cover to not get my head taken off but then i struggle to re find that player if its thick trees
its a skill issue i know but there any tips to improve?

Actually, yes. If you're having a hard time seeing players it could be because of your quality/graphics settings. There are lots of videos out there that show some of the best graphics settings. A lot of my stuff is set to "low" despite having a really strong PC. Basically the more crappy you make the game look, the better you can hunters, lol.

I can proudly say, as a Hunt player who counter sniped a camper at the Iron Works lighthouse and smokestack, that I can look up.
Lol, SO MANY PLAYERS do not look up. I have all of the receipts to prove it!
There is another spot just west of nicholls prision. You can go on top of the ruins there.

that spot at 7:40 is one of my favorites, I farmed 7 kills from a trio the other day, they chased me across 3 compounds lol, it started on that tower, and 2 of the kills were from up there

Could be but it's been there for years. You have to strafe left a little and catch the lip of the ladder :)
The first and the last are dirty and I've never seen anyone using those.

All the ruin structure spots are really noob spots and get easily spotted... he must be like in 2-3 stars mmr that the ppl don't recognize his position.
