Isaac was tricked into giving his blessing to Jacob, not because Isaac's eyes were opened. It was ordained by God.
Continuation of message about Jacob's many wives. Why couldn't God have done something different so that Jacob only had one wife regardless of the customs of this area. I do not understand how giving a concubine to Jacob as a wife can account for the lineage of Jesus regardless of the customs of this country and this time in history. Why couldn't God just simply have Leia only as the wife since she was the first one even though it was done by deception. Or could he have not done something to make the marriage to that woman ineffective and simply marry her sister and make that the only legal marriage. Regardless of the customs of that time Jacob only had one wife Rachel not many. Esau obviously did the wrong thing to spite his family by marrying the Canaanite women. But since Jacob only had one wife why could not God has made it so that the lineage only came from Leia who had given Jacob many children. Why did God accept the concubines children is part of the lineage for the progenitor of Jacob when these people were not his wives they were given to him by his current wife which invalidates the covenant with Godand it seems that the only reason that is allowed that nobody talks about is that this was the custom of their day which is wrong because Jacob had only one wife. I do not believe that the children of the concubine should be counted in the lineage of the twelve tribes I just don't get it can somebody please explain this to me
I have a problem with the many wives that Jacob had. Jacob's only wife was Leia although that was deceptive because he thought he was marrying Rachel. How can God who could have controlled the situation count the servant girls that were given to Jacob as wives by the current wives as the lineage for the procreation of Jesus. Regardless of their costumes I think this is wrong because
