Out of the park!!!!!! What! Is this 1961? Wow!!!! you are perfect!!!! Hey, Did you know that The 4 Seasons did a cover of this in 1968. Their last top 40 hit until Who Loves You in 1975. Joe Long was on bass for both. Who Loves You was the last four seasons recording with Joe Long. Just thought you would like to know. Love you Sarah!!!! Oh, by the way. The late great Don Ciccone was on bass and vocals on December, 1963 (oh, what a night).

This is one of those songs that just gets nailed every time it's covered.
The original by the Shirelles, the Ronettes, then Helen Shapiro, then Amy Winehouse.....not to mention a boat load of others that might surprise you. Look it up, it's an eye opener to be sure.
I confess I have a huge soft spot for the Helen Shapiro version but love all the others as well.
I've even heard Carole King sing it with freaking James Taylor and Joni Mitchell backing.
But then this comes along, holy cow Batman does this song ever stop giving?
