He's still alive this is just a video talking about his competition retirement back in 2016 and Charlotte remembering Valegro while he was still in competition work, incredible team lovely to see their story ♥
I think people are confusing him with Totilas who just passed because of colic
No I'll miss valegro competin
FEI posted a goodbye and i thought he died!
@@abigailbrennan9330 this is why I HATE colic
There'll never be another Valegro!❤🥰🥕🐴💯

This horse and rider is actually what inspired me to start dressage. I have no experience at all with anything english. I've been doing western rodeo for 5 years now and still want to do that. This team is amazing!
they are stunning and I totally love the positivity charlotte always brings up
He was a perfect horse for Charlotte 🐴🏇🐎❤️
Such a handsome boy, and he seems terribly sweet too! I just love horses, they fill my heart with such warmth and joy!
Don’t know about horses but it seems wonderful that Valegro was given the opportunity to retire before he got any older! Wonderful ❤️❤️

He’s not dead
He was Soo beautiful
he’s still alive tho 😳?
@@cissy3994 I know
how is valegro doing today ?
From what I'm aware he's still ridden and hacked every day at home!
Quite well, in Carl's own words "The King of the Barn."
That was actually early - many jumping 20 years old horses in FEI still, also dressage. Mine is 16, and still jumping like a 6 years. Why is he retirering so early? :)
I think she said something about wanting him to end on a high note...
@@shashashankaramani4307 Ah okay , fair :)
@@belindastergaard5012 she and Carl said that he had already won every title he could win, so there was no reason to keep going. They wanted to retire him at the top of the discipline, so that people would remember him as the incredible horse he was(so he wouldn’t go out like Totilas)
@@libbynoelle That's nice :)
So sweet to see the foam coming g out of his mouth.
Thats the thing you thought was sweet from this whole video? I cant tell if you're being sarcastic or not
My horse foams at the mouth when i ride, its actually very normal to see when a horse is doing physical work its actually seen as a positive as it shows the horse is being ridden correctly and relaxed, because if the horse was tense with bad posture and ridden wrong the salivary glad is inhibited and there mouth goes dry ♥
Retiring a horse at 14 is pretty early
And that is why I really have huge respect for Carl and Charlotte 😁
He isn't completely retired. He's just retired from competitions
He’s just retired from competitions
Hes still ridden daily and hacked, hes won everything he could have won and they wanted him to retire at his peak.
@oʇoɥd ǝlıɟoɹd ʎɯ ʞɔılɔ ʇ,uop OOP I clicked on it hehehehe
Sad he’s not a stallion. Imagine little Valegro babies 🥰
First!
Poor baby is she at least gonna keep him after he’s retired plssss tell me she is
He is the king of Carl's yard.
The animated drizzle immunophenotypically pinch because downtown pathogenetically deserve on a yummy dahlia. conscious, alike thomas
aw she loves her horsey. even puts a peice of metal in its mouth and ties it shut
Rolkur is evil. Thank God he is free from that mid evil torture.
He wasnt trained with rollkur. Totilas was.
Valegro wasn’t trained using hyperflexion or Rolkur . Sadly Totilas was trained with Rolkur and totally ruined his front legs when they began to calcify at the knee joints .Valegro did not lift his front legs in such an exaggerated manner. He was trained sympathetically in order to achieve the maximum and phenomenal success he attained.
