I enjoy my Pixel Fold. Since I owned the Surface Duo 2, I appreciate the firm factor. It doesn't multitask as simply as the Duo but, not a deal breaker. Shaine Craig did an excellent video on comparing the two phones. For the average consumer, the speed will not be noticed enough to caomplain about.
I absolutely love my pixel fold. It is a absolutely joy to use and I find myself using it more than any of my other phones

I have owned Note20U, Z Fold 4 and used my mrs Iphone 13 pro max.
I can honestly say the pixel fold is by far overall the better phone. I would suggest trying the phone out for yourselves.
The phone looks luxurious coupled with day to day none gimmicks that offer a quality of life improvement.
i will wait for the pixel fold 2

Important information: there IS a *512GB storage* version, but of course that one costs a few hundreds more while being identical to the 256gb one otherwise.
(I bought THAT version as i was used to a phone WITH micro SD slot and had a lot of media files on it that I still wanted to keep on my new phone.)
Got lucky and found a deal for 1450€ for the 512gb version ^^
I have been using my pixel fold for about 5 months now. I love it.
I’m debating on getting this or the fold 5 hard decision help ! Don’t care about the camera I use my iPhone 15 pro max for camera or video

I think the people who are dogging this phone never owned it. It is a little dramatic to call it junk. I mean everyone has their preference but this phone is far from junk.
is there any reason to buy a pixel fold when one plus open exists? I wanted to buy a fold but then I tried out the one plus open in the shop and it just blew my mind. then I read comparison reviews between the two and the OPO comes out on top in every aspect possible and is even cheaper...
I had both, went back to the Pixel. Wider when open and therefore more comfortable, furthermore on the Open there is the camera section which is very uncomfortable when you hold it
Just because another device exists doesn't mean it is meant for said person, if you haven't used it yet don't knock it, I tried the open and it wasn't for me, the form factor, the large camera bump, no wireless charging, the snap open mechanism isn't to my liking as well, so I sent it back, the form factor of the pixel being a small phone form factor with the outer display and having a mini tablet when I want it is great, but I'm glad people have options, that is what is needed.
I'm typing now off the OnePlus Open ready to go back to the Pixel. I prefer the Pixel camera, for some reason it doesn't load up things up noticeably slow when Im on the phone, I have at&t but this phone doesn't feel like 16gb of ram, plus it doesn't have a ecosystem, It's still using android 13, and it doesn't have nothing to compensate for the Google features in my opinion
@@dk91charlie hey thanks guys for the response. I made up my mind that I will skip the first gen of foldables and wait for the pixel fold 2 I guess. I'm still on OnePlus (have been since 2014) but I want to get out. Pixel Fold 2 will be my deal I hope. (The reason why I will wait a bit more is because I made it a rule for myself to not switch to a new phone before I've used my current one for at least two years. Got the OnePlus Nord 2T in 2022)
@@Sankaritarina89 actually hope they wait another year on the next pixel fold if they are going to change chip makers 2025 would be ideal for them.
