I can understand that it might not get much views and I don't know a paid course is good for business and everything but still if possible 😕

      Trust me, the way you learn is not by watching a full on guide which makes all the decisions for you and all you do is mindlessly follow which confuses you more and more instead of utilizing learned functions to suit your needs by way of thinking yourself and developing your skills.
      The way to learn as a beginner is to follow a beginners guide, learn the subject and understand the reasons behind decisions. Then you head into the jungle with a shitty spear, get fucked up by the animals, gather yourself & look up a solution for your problem and head back!
      The learning curve is more of a swinging whip(and feels just like it), there´s no way of straight lining you into the 3d world. Embrace this thought and things will get better :)

    Hey Chun Chun, I have watched and love all your videos! I am currently texturing a shark and wondered if you have any tips for organic modeling when the thing itself is very smooth. I'm using Substance Painter and suppose they way to go is painting most of the masks and using layered image textures?

  • @Klarified01
    @Klarified01 Před 3 lety +1

    Thank you for making these videos!! I am just starting Substance Painter and seeing how you work in it is really enlightening.
    I have a question though. Around 16:30 you added another layer of the gold copy to achieve some color variation. Doesn't adding two of the same layer affect the final color? I mean when I add a copy on the layer stack, the colors change even though it's the copy of an older material.

    • @ArtruismDigital
      @ArtruismDigital  Před 3 lety +1

      It shouldn't if the layer settings is normal not some kind of mix.
