these are quite scary, but nothing beats the distant roar of a reaper leviathan while you're just swimming around the crash site
You’re not wrong :D
Agreed
fax
Detecting multiple leviathan class lifeforms in your area are you sure whatever you are doing is worth it?
Same thing in seamoth
If Reaper leviathans were in real life, they would be infinitely scary tier
Great video by the way, love your content!
Haha yeah I’d never swim again if reapers were real :)
People would probably hunt them to Extinction
@@TheLastBaconthey might be thats the scary thing
I would have hydrophobia
Imagine if you're out swimming in the ocean and you hear the roar of a Gargantuan leviathan...
I love how unnatural/alien the seas feel
Absolutely! SO creepy :)
Lol what's really scary is we know more about our solar system than we know about our oceans, so for all we know, the deep, dark, depths could very well house a very real leviathan
@@Gracefulwarrior2124its really unlikely since there is not enough food down in the depths for it to survive + im sure we wouldve found some kind of trace or skeleton of it at this point
@@toon4783 Well, I wouldn't hold my breath, but considering around 80% of the ocean floor is unexplored, we never know lol.
I actually have a strong fear of the deep ocean. This was scary😂😭
The last sound sent shivers down my spine.
I'm glad you're making creepy videos again, hope there will be more soon!
Thank you! Yeah it’s both creepy and sad :)
the last one to me sounded kinda like an alarm or something
I remember when our whole group got scared while scuba diving because we heard what sounded like something chomping down on some bones. It turned out to just be a sea turtle snacking on some coral!
Must’ve been terrifying :)
🍽️🐢
The fact is that we know way more about space than our sea is already a scary fact. I always like to imagine some sort of levathian creature laying at the bottom in deep slumber..
Yeah absolutely - I’ve always wondered if there’s something massive out there we haven’t discovered yet :)
Not really
We dont know much about
Black holes
Black matter
Universes beyond the horizon
Uncertainity principle and we dont know what we dont space is massive and mysterious and only think we know are things we observed and we got a delay of thousand - billion years depending how far object is
I don't know why you'd think humans know more about space than oceans. It doesn't seem like much is known about space at all.
You enter the bottom of the mariana trench and you hear something terrifying:WARNING:detecting multiple leviathan-class creatures. Are you sure whatever you are doing is worth it?
That 1997 was definitely a great year it seems 😉 anyway, thank you for entertaining us AND teaching us something new at once!
Haha it sure seems like it :) Thank you!
4 years before...
HEY EVERY !
I think it would be cool if in the far future if unknown worlds keeps making subnautica games if you could hear noises like this and have to investigate but you don’t know exactly where you think they are so you end up in a open ocean with no sea floor in sight while hearing it as you get closer. Would be quite spooky
That would be super sick!! :)
*hears bloop* did someone fart? proceeds to get eaten
This might be the first real life video he’s ever made
Now you got me thinking :D Might be!
@@TheLastBacondon’t forget abt 10k special
As much as I enjoy the Subnautica content I really like these different videos, hope you make more of them. The ocean has always been quite a subject of interest to me, I used to look at lots of books about it when I was younger.
Yay thank you I really enjoyed making this vid :)
It's always a good day when Bacon uploads
Yay :)
I second this
@@TheLastBaconI agree! It’s definitely a great day when you upload!

Yay thank you :)
I actually really enjoyed listening to the stories you told along with them!
Yay really glad you did! :)
I think that some people may not like this bc is not subnautica, but in my opinion this videos are awesome and i think that making this type of videos every once in a while could benefit your channel and it definitely benefits me ;D
Thank you kindly :) I just had a lot of fun making this one!
@@TheLastBaconI like these more than the subnautica videos
@@TheLastBacon your welcome!
this video was very good, a little different from your usual content but still just as good, keep up the good work Bacon. :D
Thank you kindly :)
Oh boy a great youtuber making abaut a great theme. Great work. You should also make a video abaut the deep sea zones (sunlight,twilight... etc.) ! Cant wait for more of this.´!
Thank you! And that sounds awesome!! :)
Omg this video is a banger! I love when bacon plays with my thalasophobia in new creative ways

Nice vid bro, another banger!!!! ❤
Thank you! :)
The way this is edited reminds me about those old horror stories videos and I love it
Yay thank you :) Definitely had fun editing it!
I've always found this very interesting. Especially the lonely whale, if its really a whale then that'd be kinda sad for it... Imagine being all alone and no one understands you :')
Yeah a really unfortunate one :(
I always enjoy your videos, and nice to do something outside of Subnautica from time to time to spice things up! Keep up the great work :p. I hope you will have a great rest of your day.
Thank you very kindly :) You too!!
This is a great video, and feels like a super interesting subject. Amazing.
Also feels very educational. It must’ve taken a lot of research!
Thank you kindly :) Really enjoyed making this one!
Dude im such a nerd for sounds like these under the water.. its just gives me massive chills but I love it so much. It just sounds so ominous… especially upsweep, man that gave me chills 😨
Same!!! :)

@TheLastBacon I do already! I haven't finished but I'm already enjoying it! Thanks for supplying great content!
I have a suggestion Last Bacon, Do a tier list video on the scariest subnautica noises and ambiences.
Great idea :)
We all know what's going to be at the top...
The roar of the dreaded Reaper Leviathan
Just through the intro, I can already tell this is gonna be a great vid
Yay hope so! :)

I love these type of videos! Keep it up! I would like to see another video like this but with creatures like the really long squid found by that oil rig that went viral.

Sounds like a great idea :)
Keep Pushing Man and you'll get 300k Subs in No Time
That would be incredible :) Thank u!
Omg you finaly did it you made a tier list just like i askt a while ago
Heck yeah :)
Hi great day watching ya video keep up good work👍
Hey thank you kindly :)
Love this video, what about do the same but with space sounds?
Sounds awesome :)
masochism is an understatement to describe the amount of joy we all gain from scary things in the water let alone wanting to dive in there and see what's going on
Absolutely agree :)
Dude you’ve replied to more comments then I’ve ever seen from a CZcamsr, cheers
I really enjoy doing it! :) Thank u!
I love this mans videos it always get me in a mood to play subnautica, or pretty much any underwater game.
Yay thank u! :)
The fact some of these were heard in entire oceans
Ikr absolutely crazy :)
man this video really got me wanting more creepy pasta content for some reason
More might come! :)
Happy Halloween, bacon!!
Happy halloween!! :)
I know most of these are just nature sounds and are most likely icebergs or deep sea floor stuff, but it’s fun to imagine a giant beast underwater
Absolutely :)
Yep it is a good day when bacon uploads
Yay thank you! :)
The sounds sound so weird like unnatural and sort of alien like do you think that to bacon…?
Julia honestly my fav❤ btw love when bacon uploads!
Thank you! :)
Neat! Also I’m guessing you didn’t use the regular speed ones because the video would be like 20 minutes long-
Exactly :)
I really like these videos branching out 🤍
Yay thank u! :)
as someone who loves both the real life ocean and your subnautica content i approve of this video lol
Yay thank u! :)
I was told your channell due to your subnautica vids keep going I root for you till the end !! yipee
Thank you kindly :)
I like Subnautica and the ocean so that’s why I’m subbed so I can know if you post another video😃
Thank you very much :)
this is so good
Yay thank you :)
Omg I know fellow folks with Thallasophobia be creeped out now, cool video though man
Absolutely :) Thank u!
The fact that some sound like the in-game Leviathans makes me want to stay miles away from the ocean
Same haha :)
the fact that auto generated subtitles classified Julia as laughter scares me
That’s terrifying :O
A new bacon video? Today’s a pretty good day!
Thank you so much :)
Nice I like the video your the best
Thank you kindly :)
The Upsweep one sounds like some super advanced submarine exploded and it killed the entire crew and all it's power went into the alarms, but the power is slowly dying so the sound is too.
Terrifying image :D
Watching this before bed is definitely a good idea
Most definitely :)
i like how strange the sounds in the oceans are but some stuff we havent fully figured out about what it is
Yeah it’s super creepy :)
Little fun fact: The blue whale (at least accoarding to a 20 second google search) is actually not the loudest animal on earth. Its sounds clock in around 188 db. The loudest animal is the sperm whale which can create sounds at a volume of up to 230 db. This is more than enough to literally kill a person if they are too close.
One more thing I found is that a little shrimp that's just 5 cm in length evolved its claws to produce a sound at a volume of 220 decibles. It uses this skill to stun its prey.
Seems to be a topic of debate - some lists put the blue whale higher :)
@@TheLastBacon Reslly? I never saw a list where the blue whale sits at first place
The mantis shrimp, right? They kill their prey with a 60-mile-per-hour punch, which I quote from Google, are "so quick and creates so much pressure, that the shrimp actually vaporises the water in front of it. This creates small 'cavitation bubbles' that not only emit bright light, but also temperatures of around 4,000°C." They can even shatter aquarium glass!
typing this before the Video, cant wait to be spooked the cr*p out off!
Update: just finished watching, and as someone who is going to be living on a small island for the next week and is about to go diving into the pacific ocean tomorrow, I am now utterly terrified, thanks Bacon for the video, the sounds and terrifying me about tomorrow's dive!"
Heck yeah! :D
I feel like the 52-Hertz Whale sound is the most creepiest because it sounds like a women’s laugh. And it’s still crazy that we have explored less about the ocean than space. It just sends chills down my spine. Like something so much more bigger than Earth, has been explored more than something that is on our little rocky world, smaller than the universe, still less than the universe. That’s what really scares me because we don’t know what’s in the ocean. There could be littoral big animals, so dangerous, that we haven’t found out yet it’s still living in the ocean. There could be a type of water species we haven’t seen yet.
Oh now that you said it it does really sound like a creepy laugh :O
@@TheLastBacon yea…
Cool video
Thank you :)
Where do you get the stings and their names? when showing the frequency?
1:55 3:10 for example.
From wikipedia mostly :)
You can only use the iceberg sounds so many times before I get skeptical 😂
Haha ikr :D
Epic prank!!!! 💯💯💯💯
Hide an underwater speaker near an underwater sound surveillance system and play reaper sound effects!!! 💥💥💥💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥😎😎😎
Haha love your thinking :D
Okay but what happens if we explore a bit too far and get a message saying “entering ecological dead zone”
Very unfortunate things haha :)
"Upsweep" is just the Below Zero control room when turning on a room but x100
Accurate lol :D
It just makes me so uneasy to think that maybe just maybe, one of these sounds could be a unknown creature at the deepest area of the ocean 0-0
Same! :)
*i c e b e r g*
I love how the bloop is just a eisberg like most of the underwatersounds
Hopefully :)
LB is basically just the scary underwater man now. You should fully spec into this tbf
I’d love to! :)
The 52 hertz whale is actually my favorite creepy ocean sounds because it's the saddest one
Yeah it really makes you feel for the creature :)
If you ever make a second one could you please do one with the sounds of outer space some planets make really freaky sounds!
Sounds like a great idea :)
I remember one sounding like dubstep and then it sounded like a creepypasta
i know im really late but, you forgot the sound in the scp wikidot, as SCP-169
i know this is a fictional creature, but you could maybe use it for your next video covering horrifying underwater sounds :D
Good idea! :)
Underwater sounds are already tasty, so seeing them on a tier list? Three course meal!
Yay hope you enjoy! :)
I don't know if you knew. But the bloop was located near the place where, in Lovecraft's story, Cthulhu was located. This makes the sound even more mysterious...
Oh wow that’s terrifying :O
Gotta love all these leaked sounds from the icebergs of below zero
Haha exactly :D
Did you know that the Game 'Monster Hunter 3 ULTIMATE' had a banned monster because it was too scary for the children playing the Game it was called the 'Gobul' it would crawl out the sand to attack the player and you would need too attack it with your weapons but the thing that made the monster scary was its grotesque design basically getting it removed of all Monster Hunter media (Also the same people who made Monster Hunter made Resident Evil)
That does sound really creepy :)
Oh, frightfully unnerving journey, old chap! This video of mysterious underwater sounds is an absolute nightmare for those of us plagued by thalassophobia. The eerie reverberations from the Pacific Ocean are positively spine-chilling. That unidentified creature from 1989, the "loneliest whale on earth," sends shivers down the spine. The thought of an unseen entity lurking beneath the waves is the epitome of aquatic nightmares.
Your detailed explanations on the origins and theories behind these sounds deepen the sense of trepidation. The Pacific Ocean seems to be a breeding ground for horrors that torment thalassophobes. Each audio clip is a haunting symphony that exacerbates the fears of the abyss.
In conclusion, your video succeeds in evoking a disconcerting experience for those of us grappling with the unsettling phobia of the deep blue. Bravo on an unsettling exploration, and I shall anxiously await-or perhaps dread-your future ventures into the unknown depths. Cheers, but with a touch of unease!
Dang that might have been the most eloquent and well thought out comment I've read in a while! Hats off to you! :)
@@TheLastBacon Thank you!
I didn't know what title was that but I think it's called "a giant monster scratching the ocean" I don't know
By the way love your vids!
Thank you! That sounds terrifying :)
I do believe that the train sounds like moist critical saying "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" and tbh i gotta say YAAAAAA BABY THATS WHAT IV BEEN WAITIN FOR YAAAAAA
Haha you’re not wrong :)
5:56 “As with most sounds on this list, it is thought to be caused by…”
(Wayfair ad plays)
Me: I agree, Wayfair IS scary.
Haha downright terrifying :D
Plot twist: Antarctica is actually a reefback leviathan and has made all the sounds and then some from this video
Oh I love the idea :)
I noticed that the CZcams subtitles stated that the Julia recording included laughter
Well that’s terrifying :O
Here is my idea for what a potential real life “leviathan class” creature could be like:
The Abyssal Leviathan
A large creature that evolved to have a mouth that spans almost 20 feet in each direction when opened, it travels around in the abyss zone, swallowing up anything that enters its mouth. It evolved this mouth as it is so large that creatures simply do not know they are in it until it is far to late. The creature itself is around 100-120 feet long, with a large slender body. It feeds off of anything that enters its mouth. While it does this it picks up plenty of sea snow, so much so that sea snow makes up at least 25% of its diet. They are solitary creatures and it is unknown how they reproduce or what sounds they make, but whatever sounds they do make are very quiet, as they rely on sound to “hunt”, moving in the general direction of any sound it can hear
Sounds terrifying :) I love it!
10:10 i feel like thats what the bulb/mountain zone would sound like that is so ominous
True :)
The first one sounded like slowed down cyclops alarm (subnautica)😂😂😂
True! :)
