So I think I've become addicted to Honkai Star Rail... I can't stop playing... Help

Welt is an actually good character, he can stop enemies from moving which is incredibly useful in a turn based game
And hes a good duo with dan heng and seele its insane

I love new people that comes with the "Genshin brain" that "not damage dealer = bad". Basically everyone hates Welt in the beginning because he is focused on applying slow and they don't understand how powerful delaying enemies turns in a turn based game is.
Tbf tho, he does pretty decent dmg too, so idk, he feels like an aoe dmg dealer that debuffs enemies too, so basically amazing

I adore turn based games, I very quickly saw the value in Welt when using someone else’s using the support system. I’ve made quite a bit with my Clara too. Don’t have him but I like em!

Since i learned it today im gonna mention that star rail has a item that lets you pick a main stat to prioritize with artifacts, alongside being able to r5 a 5 star light cone without copies of it.
Artifact thing is from the FREE battlepass and the other is from the simulated universe shop
the only 5 stars you can r5 though are the ones that you get from the simulated universe you cannot use the superimpose item on other light cones. also the item for the relic main stat will likely appear in events eventually too kind of like how genshins crowns appear in events as a rare item.

The lc that you can superimpose without copies is exactly like genshin event weapons with special refinement items though. It's limited to specific light cones.

in exchange for getting one artifact with the desired main stat now we gotta grind an extra artifact

As much as you didn't want Welt, it's nice to have the only Imaginary type in the game.
You got Welt!? Literally, the only person I wanted from the 8-ticket banner was Welt, and Hyoyverse said have the munchkin instead. I saw Welt as the father figure character so I wanted to have him and then get Himeko so I could own the entire express family, but Hoyoverse said no you will not have your father.
SAMEEEE I got Bailu on the starter banner and got an elodion of her and Gepard on standard... I'm at 100 pulls WELT WILL COME HOME!!!

I wanted Bronya / Himeko (Welt is fine too) but now.. I got Bailu. I like how she keeps my party alive most of the time but not the one i wanted alot..
I ended up getting Bronya on the 8 ticket banner. She was probably one of the top ones I wanted next to Welt. But then I got Welt twice on the Standard Banner (not back to back) and then lost 50-50 on Seele's banner and got him again. I can say for a fact that I've never been THAT lucky with getting copies of 5-stars. Welt is a good unit to have too. So, I'm really happy.
Whoopsie I got both Welt and Himeko. Baliu and Seele. Uh, I kinda got lucky. Lol

You actually got really lucky. Because welt rn is a S tier unit due to his ability to slow enemies and him being the only imaginary type in the game. He's gonna help you a lot in SU and forgotten hall.
Just combine him with dan heng, your preferred healer, buffer (you can use a sheilder but you'll have to sacrifice the dmg for survivability) and you'll have a broken team.
The only character I didn’t wanted was Gepard because I want to keep using March 7, but of course I got him as my first 5 star. I’m not complaining anymore tho, he helps a lot when I need to tough my way out of fights lol
I use both March 7th and Gepard! They're so good together and it makes my characters unkillable

I don’t like Gerard’s personality and bailu is my favourite character i would’ve been fine with Clara or bronya but I got GEPARD

okay I'll be honest, i didn't want welt in the start but i was lucky enough to get him early on the standard banner. now i can't stop playing him. he's literally one of the best characters.
it's so stupid how easily he can break shields with imaginary weakness. and slowing down enemies is much more important than i originally thought. AND his damage is no joke.
Welt is awesome. Idc what anyone says he carried me to the end of the story. I'm at lvl 36 and now it's grind until the new patch. I also got Clara and Bronyas Cone. So I'll be using my guarantee on The Lightening dude on the next banner. Also I heard the next banners 4 stars are great.
Qingque is actually my favorite Quantum character. I don’t use her a whole lot bc i have other favorite characters but if i have to use Quantum i use Qingque. Her kit is also kinda easy to understand. The more pieces she has that are identical the heavier her hit. Four of a Kind is literally her burst.
I had a bad day but I got so excited as soon as I saw the notifications. You never disappoint!

The best part of Star Rail for me is that you can auto fight , so i can eat my snackies meanwhile
Clara busted my fifty-fifty on Seele's banner too. Now I'm just hoping I can scrape together enough pulls before the banner ends, because I really want Seele. At least I like Clara.
Clara is a good character. Svarog counters almost every turn (sometimes even counters the counter). It's so funny to see how enemies choose death because they keep attacking Clara, ahaha
@@atomicgrave4340 I love using clara against enemies that can counter when attacked cause if they counter attack Clara, Svarog will kill then using a stronger counter
Also Clara is like the 2nd or 3rd best damage dealer rn which is nuts for a tank character

@@lunasquib Yes, unfortunately. First five-star is a fifty-fifty chance, and then if you lose the fifty-fifty the next five-star is guaranteed to be the banner character.
Oh yeah just for some info welt is almost important for most bosses and enimimes due to his power being imaginary and almost every boss and enemy can be brocken by imaginary and also you can try out character you dont have in the calyx they provide a free support character to use instead of your own but yeah. And also gepard if you build him enough and uses his skill he can insta freeze
im level 36 and i zoomed through quests and spent tons of resin to get xp and better gear and i forgot the game just came out and then got greeted with "wait until the next update for the next part of the story" lmao, but at least i can chill out now and focus on my characters

Turn based games makes your healers and supporters shine brightly…i enjoy having Natasha in the team and i liked all the voiced quests i get with her…my problem is trying to fit her with either Sushang and/or Clara while being elemental diverse enough for weakness breaks…
I somehow got unlucky and lucky on the Seele banner and got Bailu instead of her as the 5 star…
And for when I use Jing Yuan for electric weakness I switch her out for my E6 Natasha so I can still heal and have a elementally balanced team
Java, Welt reduces def on enemies and is really good
Why would you not want Welt? He is, like, REALLY good. Both as damage dealer and applying effects.
I love how Welt is chilling with Java in his party.

I also got welt when i rerolled after many accounts and decided to go with it because I was tired. But welt is very good at speed debuffs although his design is not that appealing. But in this same account I'm CURSED with Qingque. She's all I'm getting in every banner. Even in Seele's banner, i did a 10 pull and got only Qingque as the 4 star and she's not even a rate up character in Seele's banner. I have her at E4 now.

to use clara you need to put a shield. that way she gets targeted and she gets hit and counterattacks. her counterattacks are her more dps side.
I just want to say, i love how comfy your videos are, and the bgm choice is 👌
Some tips :
- You can accelerate the combat (that was so slow in the video I wanted to cry)
- If you beat Guepard with Serval, you'll get an achievement
- Same for Cocolia, use Serval for the last attack too and you'll get an achievement
I did use Serval for the Gepard battle I think
But not with Cocolia, can I redo that with the boss?

Hey Java, just wanted to say that Gepard provides super broken shields for the whole team with his ult (like the Zhongli of Star Rail + gets one revive in battle if he is down), and Bailu is one of the most powerful healers in the game right now I'm pretty sure. Welt is also the only imaginary character in the game sooo...

Path would be a way better one to focus on imo.
Elements are needed for weakness breaks, and the fights can get really hard when you can't cause them. The challenge might genuinely become impossible with just one element.

JAVATHECUP I accuse you of giving me bad luck!! I watched your video last night and finished my pull this morning and got the cane guy you hate not once but twice. First on the standard 50 pull banner and then failed the 50/50 Seele's banner too 😭😭
I got bronya then i lost my 50/50 on seele’s banner to bailu then i got an early seele today (and i got bailues light cone from standart) id say pretty lucky
Sigh, I got Himeko. I really wanted Clara or Bronya but NOOOOOOOO I had to continue my 50/50 losing streak on Seele's banner and get Bailu- she's a literal lifesaver thoug
I won my 50 50, early and got seele, then again I won my 50 50 immediately and got Seele Eidolon, and I'm pissed because I'd much rather prefer losing it so I could get Jing Yuan
Welt is actually a really good imaginary character, he does really good damage andd Imprisons enemies and advances your turn. So no use neglecting him but eh do what you will XD

If you pull Gepard early with natasha is very good because gepard ult give your team all shield and natasha will heal everyone their very good team

1. Try going to the Parlor Car when u warp

Tip: If you use a "bounce" attack, like Asta or Welt's skill, it moves to multiple characters.

@@SpookyIsReal yes but dps falls off more and gets powercrept much faster than supports which is why bronya is the best character in the game. of course we also dont know how they will handle limited yet and how long it will take to come to standard if they ever do cause honkai impact adds characters to standard after a while and since this is part of the honkai series maybe they will use the same logic who knows.

@@mikonyx7712 yes but even danheng is extremely strong and he is a 4 star and danheng is arguably stronger than yanqing since he can slow and increase his own speed and if his ult defeats an enemy he can refresh his turn. imo danheng has the second highest potential for a dps currently.

In my opinion Clara is not a bad 5 star, her ultimate taunts enemies and makes your counter enhanced so it does AoE damage. Honestly with the right build he does decent tanking and good damage.

we had the same warps wtf, i got welt when i did the 50 warp standard banner (he's also my least favourite character). then i got the same 5 star light cone as well.

I didn't summon on seele banner saving for next bannet. I got bailu on beginner banner, then on main banner i got gepard then in the next 10 got himako. Lucky i guess but i want welt so bad so jelly you got him he is so good.
You know. I did the same thing. I didn't want Yanqing but I got him twice and never leveled him. I only acknowledge Seele as my firsy 5 star character.
Yanging is broken tho, you should level him.

Little tip tho, if you plan to use Clara always partner her up with a healer and a shielder. March 7th isn't really good if you want your Clara to recieve all the damage cause the one you put March Skill(Shield) with will have higher chance to be attacked if their HP is 80% above.
My team comp RN is Natasha,March7th,Clara, and Selle. And its carrying me through all the hard content.
My team is Seele with her light card Natasha e3 bronya e1 and Clara with her light card and I am ftp

This is so funny, I also didn't want Welt and ended up getting him at hard pity lmao. Still not a huge fan of his playstyle but I absolutely love his personality though, very much dad vibes.
P.s. Clara is one of the strongest five stars so you may not seem like you got lucky but you did. She has excellent defense and her follow up attacks add extra damage as well as doubling the amount if you use her Ult. I did my homework lol.

Oh I relate. The only one I didn't want was himeko, got her from the 50 pull banner and then her E1 by losing pity at 40 while pulling for Seele, what's even worse I had to get to 80 pity to get Seele, my only other five stars are two light cones that I can't use on the characters I use 🥲
