I've played Pokemon games for over 16 years, so today I decided to turn Genshin Impact into a Pokemon game. This means we can only use Amber, Xiangling, Fischl, and Kokomi, but we can ONLY use their elemental skills.
The goal is to take out 8 regular bosses (gyms), 4 weekly bosses (elite 4), and one "champion" boss. If we do this, then we can become the Champion of the Teyvat region... Or something like that.

This would have been much easier with Ushi around. He technically doesn't attack, but you can't deny he's a pet, more so than a jellyfish made out of water or a explosive doll.

apparently you can also use fischl’s burst bc it’s as the same as her skill
technically, no, because there's also a lightning strike that hits enemies when using it.

kokomis normal attack summons fishes
Kokomi is the starter pokemon that is 20 levels ahead of the rest of the team and carries even when the typing isnt in favour
You really should've used Fischl's and Kokomi's bursts. Fischl: gets posessed by her pokemon, + 2 mobility. Kokomi: you don't need to attack with her, her Q also passively increases Pokemon's dmg and healing
Her Q also increases it’s duration so if you have enough ER and the right timing, the Jellyfish can have 100% uptime!
Also Kokomi can shoot fish while in her burst

This reminds me of an AFK team I used around the overworld a bit as a joke. Albedo, Zhongli, Yae, and Kokomi. Throw down the skills, throw up the shield, and just watch everything around you die as you experience true immortality.
You technically don't have to attack Raiden in the puppet form. Every time she attacks, she spends a bit of her shield.

they meant every time raiden attacks, the shield bar goes down which means you technically don't need to attack her

As much as I like the other series, these types of (kinda random with a specific theme) videos are my favorite : creative, entertaining, good change of pace when it comes to the usual gameplay.

My friends and I do something similar but nuzlocke. We randomize the 8 world bosses and also do 4 weeklies. But we randomize our team in the beginning and get a random encounter after each world boss
You could’ve used Ushi as technically when Itto uses his skill, it’s Ushi coming out that does damage… also distracts and has a lot of health so that’s nice
So true, Ushi distracts!.. until you realize Baron Bunny is supposed to distract too but they all ignored it 😭
If only you could use Collie and Sayu's burst since both of them spawn a Pokemon.

Although I agree with raiden would be the final challenge, the scara boss would be better in spirit as you would have 5 pokemons

Looks like Itto's little Tauros might've been a bit more useful than Amber's Magicar... I mean Teddyursa
How funny would it be if Itto was on the team? The only damage he does is on switch in, and only because he throws the Pokemon at the opponent.
(Still probably better than Amber, though.)
Poor Amber, neglected, abused, and didn't even get any credits. Did you know she can even drop two Baron Bunnies at once when you get her to C4? Maybe even three if you gave her sacrificial bow...
Also, the thing that was killing you over and over again at the electro flower were those seeds was spitting on the side which you've been totally neglecting.

I love the idea a green goblin trying to steal Christmas is just running around trying to hunt down a digital reindeer AI named Java to steal his Christmas tree.
You should be able to use fishls burst and kokomis too, one becomes her pokemon and other just refreshes her jellyfish duration

I think fischl’s ult(and e)counts as companion attacks considering that you control oz.
I love this challenge! Irecommend a second version of this calenge with Itto E, Razor Q, Kokomi E, and Fishl E and Q

I feel like the Ocran hued set should be allowed on kokomi. Think of her jellyfish like tentacruel, and it used toxic. Constant dmg every turn

Furina and Yaoyao are actually so good for this lol. Add Fischl and Xiangling and you have a very wonky "pokemon" team

Kokomi and fishl burst respawn their pets so you can use them and instantly swap to cancell burst ^^

Guoba + Yuegui + Bake Kurage + Oz = there's so much reactions you can do with these 4 esp Dendro reactions.
I think Kokomis normal attacks and Q would’ve been fine, because she just uses fish to attack they can kind of count as a wishiwashi. And if u wanna be more realistic you could say that you can’t visit the “pokemon centers” between elite 4 fights & the champion and just have to rely on the food you have, in case you ever plan on doing this again, which I hope you do, I think it was a cool video!
(I’m not sure about fischls Q and the ethics of *becoming* the pokemon but uhhhhh… maybe?)

If you do this again, I think it's fine to use other skills if they're just used to control your Pokemon. ie. using Fischl and Kokomi's bursts to refresh their summons, and Amber charged shot to detonate Baron Bunny (if you have that constellation; would def be really helpful for this!)

Now with yaoyao and especially furina, this challenge would’ve been much easier. Although then you’d have to factor in the sumeru and fontaine world bosses and weeklies.
Too bad you didn’t bring Collei, her burst is her Cullien-Anbar (I think I’m spelling that right) that attacks the enemy. Then you could’ve been using hyperbloom and burgeon the entire time.

for anyone interested in this idea, there are a few animal/familiar only accounts if u want to watch more of it
1 sacrificial any weapon would have been great here. I always use the book on koko on coop to keep her jellyfish all the time up.
2, instead of Amber maybe use Sayu? I think her brust would have been more useful, but yeah, hard to get it up. Unless Sayu counts as the pokemon herself since she is diguised as it. Otherwise I guess you can the inazuma claymore forge, just press e far away from the enemy and you should regenerate particles without even hitting anyone.
You should have fought the Oceanid, she is the most like a Pokémon trainer. She doesn't fight on her own (mostly), only summons her pokémons. Anyway, it was fun! :)

You should do Pokemon-Genshin series where you create new account and collect "pokemons", lvl them up and beat up all bosses without healing by food or reviving while fight (or just add another challenges) 😄

Collei"s burst Collin Ainbur is a shiny Mimiku. Also, Baron Bunny is essentially Magikarp.
Um the Raiden attack, I don't know if you meant Raiden herself or the phantom hand. But I know for the hand, it has the cursor following you, you wait until it's closer to spawning and then dodge out of the circle. You actually aren't supposed to run during the whole attack set up.

it would be interesting (also more painful sounding) if you turned this into a nuzlocke similar to the games
i feel like it would make sense to start with amber since she basically counts as a starter pokemon, the first one you get when you start genshin
and for only using one pokemon per route you could make it you only obtain a character after killing a boss in their region, and to add to the randomised encounter aspect of it you could spin a wheel to pick which character you obtain from that region
and just like an actual nuzlocke, if that character dies they’re dead forever unless you restart the challenge
too bad you cant nickname characters in this lol
