I just bought an 03 Midnight Venture that I am going to have to be happy with only adding some air filters (mice - always check air filters when buying used), new front tire, and the luxury of a backrest. Eye candy isn’t currently in the budget. But the bike does well at speaking for itself.

That is a nice bike, I own a 2007 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe. I love my bike but have been thinking of trading it for a Royal Star Venture. The Tour Deluxe is equipped with the same hard saddlebags, but no tour pack, batwing with radio system, intercome, or CB. I have ridden my bike all over the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, the Eastern Shore of MD, Delaware, and crossed the Chesapeake Bay on the Cape May ferry to ride the Jersey shore as well. I still have plans for more rides, but I think I'd like a stereo/CB and a tour pack with a more comfortable back seat for my girlfriend to ride on and that's why I'm on the fence about trading my bike though I'm very happy with it. I definitely could use the tour pack, the girlfriend packs a bit more than I do for a trip so the extra space would be great.
