c'mon, you can't deny TASM has the best swinging scenes out of all the 3 iterations of spidermans. it's super satisfying to see TASM swinging actions again implemented in the game and Miles Morales one.
Agreed. There is somehting about MCU Spiderman that just feels "off" for some reason. The swinging does not thrill me in the same way as the Andrew films. Even Raimi had a better vision for what Spiiderman should look like when he swings across the city than the MCU director (who seems to focus solely on the Peter/Avengers side of things).
As someone who thinks that Tom Holland has the best iteration of Spider-Man, I can agree with you that this web-swinging is better.
@@youtubinganonymous2 because the CGI is not good and tom holland body type / height just looks weird doing it.

Yeah but what if the helicopter just gave him a lift though? It was there....could've just helped him out.
1:18 This has to be one of the greatest Spider-Man swinging sequences ever. It's so realistic. The way the camera falls with him as he falls incredibly fast is perfect. You can hear the wind as his speed increases. It's almost like a rollercoaster when you hit the pinnacle and then just drop. It perfectly captures how web-swinging would be in real life and makes the audience feel as if it's falling and rising with Spider-Man.

When you are the thousandth like 😎
there are 2 reasons i love this scene:
1) the reason the construction workers are doing this is because he saved a kid in a bridge and it was actually the son of one of the workers, who called in some favours to help spider man when he was in need, showing that, like the movie "Klaus" said (completely out of left field i know): "a true selfless act always sparks another"
2) this shows that civilians can help heroes. heroes aren't invincible, they are still human (for the most part) and could still use some help. I don't know of a SINGLE other superhero movie that shows this message.
In may parker words you help someone you help everyone
there's also a third one, Spider-Man's titanium will
Thor Being A God:Am I A joke to you?
Ghost rider as well! The police man literally shot him giving him more Power
Also the construction worker said that "wait I know that Guy!" "Yeah he saved my boy from the bridge!"
I’m convinced 1:45-1:53 is the best moment in all Spider-Man movies. The music, the camerawork, the way he swings, the lighting, just everything
1:55 COOL SWING
@@LSchelvin71 yesss
The Soundtrack!!
If you're talking about the live-action movies, yeah, it's fantastic. It has emotional weight too, I love how the civilians gathered up to help Spider-Man - really drives in that Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man thing - swing to Oscorp, very beautiful.
I hate to ruin the moment, but does he really need those cranes to swing? There are clearly buildings in the direction he’s going in.
This Spider-Man honestly looks like in the same timeline with venom.
I agree, i cant imagine tom spiderman(iron boy jr) fighting hardy venom
@@ezzzzzy3863 Wouldn't be much of a fight. He would be ripped in half in 2 seconds.
@@TheN1ghtwalker They might have to wait until he gets older.
@@captainobvious7165 But Tom Hardy will get older too. And it's not about the age, it's mostly about how they handled the character.
@@TheN1ghtwalker should be andrew
What I love about this scene is you're literally watching Peter become Spider-Man with each swing. But it started before that first swing. When he covered his gunshot wound with his webs and fought through the pain to sprint off the top of that first building. He was knocked down but he stood back up and literally took a "leap of faith" (to quote Into the Spider-verse).
The first web shot missing felt like Peter being *too* confident - he was *trying* to be a hero.
The second shot, the first to connect to a crane, was a very simple pendulum swing. He got a good feeling for the speed and intensity of swinging here.
The next one, with the epic camera movement, was him feeling a bit more comfortable with the sensation, with him using his momentum for extra speed and height.
After that was a very quick and seamless tether with a basically perfect pendulum swing to maximize speed and height while remaining in control.
The next two tethers are the precursor to his "transition". The music score comes to a head, and we see Peter doing basic mid-air acrobatics, showing he's finally got it figured out.
Then finally at 1:45, with the score dropping its big triumphant motif, Peter finally becomes Spider-Man, without *trying* to be a hero like he was with the missed shot in the beginning. He's a little shaky from the backflip he did previously, but regains his control within seconds.
He's swinging with real confidence and finesse, as seen by the little flourishes he adds to the subsequent swings. His web tether shots are placed with precision, and we finally get the flare that we all know Spider-Man for.
The choreography and scoring for this scene is other-worldly.

I don't understand why people don't like this version of Spiderman, it's my favorite version. It slowly shows all development of how he become Spiderman, from his motive to his costume and web shooters it all was shown, and the movie didn't just focus on his hero side we actually saw the life Peter Parker and how it affects him.
Toby's fans are too toxic (not all).
I agree, it’s the Tibet fanboys & mcu fanboys who dislike Andrews Spider-Man
IMO I think he & Robert Pattinsons Batman have the perfect tone & similarities where they can potentially exist in the same universe
It's been years for me since I've watched this movie. Me and my sister were watching it earlier and were just appreciating how great it really was. When this scene happened and the worker started getting the calls made, I was ecstatic and pumped up as it occurred. This scene in particular though is proof of why Spider-Man is my favorite comic-book superhero: Inspiration.
A hero is someone who others look up to, an idol, who can manage to make the impossible possible, and defy all odds for the sake of others. This is the side of Spider-Man's story that isn't shown off much in the movies, usually because he's too busy being called a menace or is too new to the scene.
Spider-Man 2 did a great job of instilling this though, with how everyone on the train he saved had elected to keep his identity secret out of respect, but this scene does it better by having the average citizens play an active role in helping him save the day.
That worker knew Spidey was a hero and knew that he needed help, and even when the evacuation was called he refused to leave when he knew that he could do something to help save the city. The co-workers across the sites likely knew of this fact too, about Parker's heart, and saw that if their co-worker was willing to put himself at possible risk like the hero, then why should they do any different? Spider-Man may be the one with nifty gadgets and powers, but he was still human like the rest of them and was putting himself in extreme danger in order to save complete strangers, _why why should they do any different?_ They had the power to help save the city they called home, and they felt that it was their duty, nay!, their _responsibility_ to help.
Amazing Spider-Man does this better than Spider-Man 2: the banner of Hope for those to follow, to rally behind. To those know the real Spider-Man, he is a true hero: selfless, unrelenting, refuses to trade lives, and a beacon of hope. In this movie, the civilians don't simply act like he just waved his hands in front of him saying "You didn't see _anything_" before disappearing; these civilians knew that they could make a _real_ difference right there and right then. These average people were willing to risk themselves, just like Spidey, in order to help save the day. Spider-Man _inspired_ them.
That's what is never really tackled much in all the movies: how much of an inspiration Spider-Man really is. While part of his motives is his other superpower: Super Guilt; he still dons the mask in order to help those in need, and even when he tries to quit the gig he just can't, he can't just sit by and o nothing when he knows he can do something. You don't see _Batman_ being an inspiration, he's not even a particularly great role model overall; while Superman wears a symbol of hope, he is not an inspiration; Spider-Man _is_ though. Spider-Man is by no means some average joe, but he's not some god either, he has limits just like the people he saves do, which helps him be relatable to them as well, but even when he's hopelessly outnumbered he still keeps fighting. He doesn't run, he doesn't retreat to make a plan to use later (looking at _you_ Batman), he stays in the crosshair of danger and continues fighting.
I may have ranted a bit here, but like I said, Spidey is my favorite comic-book hero for a reason. He is an unrelenting flame that forever burns (if we're being honest...I'd say he might just be worthy of a Green Lantern ring), and will fight til the bitter end for the sake of others, even if he is constantly ridiculed, and doesn't seek praise.
No one told him that "power comes responsibllity"
But he understood it as the film went ahead
Truely "action speaks louder then words" thing
What I liked the most about The Amazing Spider-Man was the physics playing part when Peter web swings. They look so realistic.

1:28 there's something about this scene that makes you feel like you're one of the civilians watching Spidey swing away as the police officer stops from driving, literal perfection
You know a lot of people don’t like Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man but let’s be honest the first amazing Spider-Man was actually good
I think a lot of people liked him as Spider-Man. He had that cocky, deadpool-like quality to him, always cracking jokes and throwing out one-liners during fights. The problem is that he didn't portray a very accurate Peter Parker. Peter Parker is supposed to be an awkward, nerdy teen, and Garfield made him seem too confident, and dare I say arrogant, when he wasn't wearing the suit.
CGM Stride Films It was a great and emotional ride
Alaskan Psyche I should also mention that he’s too much of a pretty boy and a hipster.
Alaskan Pysche, Peter Parker was actually a good looking guy, but he didn't have the confidence to embrace that until he became Spider-man. We see that in Spider-man TAS and Spectacular Spider-man and the Amazing Spider-man films.
ApolloXL5 Uh what are you on about? Ik but l never said anything

Wasn't a big fan of TASM 2 but I actually liked this movie. Took Spiderman in a realistic route and did something different with how he became a hero. Instead of Ben's death making him a hero, he became a anti-hero hunting down Ben's killer. Then when he was put in that situation on the bridge and saved those people it clicked in his head. I liked that, it was cool to see him become from a asshole who was grieving and full of anger to someone he knew his Uncle Ben wanted him to be and someone he would be proud of. Now TASM 2 was just.... Harry was what made it suck for me .
Damn, when you put it like that it makes me like his origin a little more. I kind of saw Uncle Ben’s death as a rip off of how they did it with the Raimi trilogy (especially with the “not my policy” line), but I didn’t realize that unlike Tobey he didn’t become a hero from Ben’s line or regret from indirectly killing him. But simply saving that boy (and maybe Ben’s line hit him after the fact because he finally realizes what he meant). That’s a nice difference, and probably something that’ll fly over a lot of people’s heads.
The music starting at 0:27 is my favorite part of the movie's soundtrack. It's so beautiful and full of hope.

I absolutely love this scene; the way that Spider-Man doesn't say a single word, even as he struggles to reach the tower with numerous falls and misses. It heavily portrays that words alone won't solve any hardships or problems; you need to ACT in order to achieve your goals and make things better.
Peter had lost so much in his life and he was struggling, yet he continued on and pursued in saving his city. This really does make us realise that life's struggles should never stop you achieving your goals, and you need to thrive to do so.

This scene is so jaw-dropping. I remember the first time I watch it my head literally got dizzy, just shows how well edited this scene is.
This is easily the best ever depiction of Spiderman web swinging... The inertia of his movement, the feeling of momentum, the way the web starts loose, then goes taut as he swings on the end of it, the very tangible points that the web latches on... It's all so friggin beautiful.
I love the Raimi movies and enjoy the swinging sequences in them, but too often the web swinging looked very floaty. The MCU depiction is yet to really give us a definitive swinging sequence. So for me, this crane scene and the opening of TASM2 is where it's at for the best Spidey web swinging scenes ever.
It's also about how the people that make Spiderman a hero aren't the genius scientists like his father or Dr. Connors, but the average everyday working New Yorkers who believe in him.

@@lllightskindude true. I hate it when people try to squeeze in characters into movies with no backstory/emotion. I liked TASM2 but I definitely agree that it could have been A LOT better. There were so many deleted scenes and it had so much potential for a third movie with the Sinister Six. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen but I do see that Tom’s Spider-Man has learned this and now there is multiverse action happening 👍
@@danielcube6141 I like this movie but I hate the movie that Tom Holland made because he doesn’t know who’s a bad guy he just scream “Mr.Stark”? And I don’t like it...
avi arad is the main villain of spiderman movies lol
ruined the fkn spiderman 3 (still very entertaining movie)
and ruined tasm 2 with crappy storyline
@@sarjeshkhadgi2841 he also (if i was right) canceled the 90s spiderman show
TASM and TASM2 Is my personal favourite SM despite the hates it get. The swinging is just AMAZING.
I really enjoyed the first TASM. Very underrated for sure.
Tobey: Majestic
Andrew: Realistic
Tom: Cartoonish
YaBigBoii II facts
That's a weird way of spelling IronBoy Jr.
Yeah. There's no best spiderman since none of those things are even close to each other and cant be compared. Theyre each good at those things.
Josh keaton: perfect
They’d make a mad team
I really wanna see a live action spider-verse with Tobey, Andrew and Tom.
Could you imagine all three of them swinging together through the streets of new York city times square it would be so awesome
like into the spideyverse
That's my dream..
Kaleb Rod each time a camera focuses to one of them their theme is playing in the background
I hope to come back in this comment thread someday and congratulate you on predicting this 🙏🏻
This scene had me in genuine tears when i first watched it,Andrew Garfield Will always be one of the most Beautiful and Best Spiderman To ever exist,I Genuinely dont understand why he got so much hate,His Spiderman Adaptation and acting was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! (Also yes,i do understand he's not a good peter parker,But His Spiderman Def Was.)
Me too
James Horner soundtrack to this film is legendary may he rest in peace knowing that as long as I live this soundtrack will always be in my heart
Best Spider-Man suit ever
I agree with you on that, I really like the blue detail on it 😎
Amazing suit, but raimi's suit is better in my opinion.
Sasha Braus yea I will always love the classic
@@trinililbit12345 ом
Yes, I'm not the only one who likes this suit best
Am I the only one who thinks all 3 spidermans are great and unique in their own way? Non of it are bad, they all are just unique in their own ways. Tobi has hos own fans who admire him, Andrew has his, and so does Tom. Some people have their preference, can't we just respect that?
Personally, my favourite is Tobi's, doesn't mean I have to hate Andrew's and Tom's. I enjoy their movies just as much. For me at least, I just can't find a reason for me to hate any of them.
Finally a real fan of Spider-Man
Finally I'm not the only one.
Here’s your crown 👑
YOU SIR ARE A REAL FAN OF SPIDER-MAN! btw same i love all of em
Ngl My favourite suit is The Amazing Spider Man 2 suit
these movies definitely had the best swinging scenes
Everyone in my theater started clapping when Spiderman was swinging on the cranes! It was one of the most unforgettable movie experiences of my life
If it wasn't for the lizard scaring the life outta me I wouldn't have begged my mom to take me outta the theater at the time 😔.

This scene, cinematographically, is perfect
Such a powerful scene. This is why Spider-Man is my favorite superhero of all time. Rest In Peace Stan Lee.

Tobey: Best Peter
Andrew: Best spider man
Tom: Balanced in both

Tom Holland's spidey is what Stan Lee had Spider man in mind when he made him, he even said it himself..and you called him trash
@@snaffuu6817 Yess i will call him trash forever what are you gonna do about it gonna cry?
Nobody understood this movie when it got released, now everyone do.
Andrew was better spiderman than Tom.. his version was funny, had more spidey moments, thrilling and most of all, it was indeed 'amazing'
Tobey > Tom > Andrew period
I agree with you I don’t really like Tom because he doesn’t feel like Spider-Man to me. I love Tobey and Andrew
I love both maguire and Garfield I grew up with them plus I love andrew’s suit it’s very unique
I like all of them. Their SM versions just have different approaches and match with the style of each movie. Tobey has a dramatic version because Raimi tried to contemplate peter's inner conflicts, Andrew has a cool version because web wanted to modernize his movie and Tom has a young/inexperient version to contrast with the other MCU characters
@@sackbub8243 Tobey sucks
This is something Tom Holland will never have in his movies. Respects to Andrew man, I love this scene👊
Wait. 👍
@@gomezv8944 But he is still here unlike his predecessors 😉👌
I mean, the web swinging at the end of Far From Home was pretty legit. It really shows how much he had gotten used to his powers at that point.
@@gomezv8944 lol but do agree tom holland is a little too childish for someone having superhuman strength and insane neuro responses, which andrew made look realistic
andrew looks like someone who can control that much power
not like some tom boi who has become a fucking comic
@@akpsyche1299 what swinging scnes? there are literally no swinging scenes in mcu spider man, its like he got back pain or some shit, and talking about legit everything in mcu has become cgi, its like watching cartoons i dont think he even had a suit lol
A lot of people dislike this movie and fail to see how it nailed Spider-Man's role as New York's protector. Look at how many people are helping him. They know that Lizard is a Spider-Man level threat, so they do the right thing and be a helpful city to their friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
This soundtrack would be the best closing music if ever they make a last TASM movie
the scene is brilliantly executed.....0:06 - 0.20 where Spider-Man looks at the oscorp tower is a joy to watch as a huge fan of the hero.....
1:55 my favorite part
1:47 too
The SpiderMan that doesn't need a Mr Stark
The best thing about Spider-man is New York is a character.
Music starts at 0:28 is so chillin. Giving goosebumps. There's something about Andrew that Tom will never overcome. His Acting.
... Not only his actincg..
Well the music is sang by many 0eople. it shows how many have to work together as team to reatch what they want

Tom is also a great actor. Watch the dad talk scene from Homecoming
Why you gotta compate tom with everything lmao. You are such an crybaby
THIS SCENE TOKE MY BREATH AWAY IN THE THEATER. GROWING UP IN THE 70S READING SPIDERMAN COMICS. KNOW SEEING HIM COME TO LIFE IN MY FAVORITE INCARNATION. WOW. THE SOUNDTRACK IS JUST AWSOME!😊
After watching No way home,
Me to garfield: perhaps i treated you too harsh.
You are amazing..
He is the amazing Spider-Man after all
My favorite Spider-Man, and my favorite Spider-Man actor
Ditto!
I got goosebumps watching this in theaters. I really enjoyed this version of Spider-Man. I was 6, 8, and 11 with The original films, then I was 15 and 17 watching TASM films. Now with MCUs Spider-Man, I was 20 watching Homecoming, and 23 with Far from home. Growing up I’ve witnessed everything generation, every iteration of the character on the big screen, and I love each one!
Why can’t more people be like you?
@@thefilmwatcher1302 I don’t know man. People seem to be very binary in their take on Spider Man. I just love movies, so being able to see three different interpretations over multiple stages of my life has been a great gift. I’ll be 25 when No Way Home hits theaters, and I feel the same way I did over a decade ago.
@@BLAISEDAHL96 I hate this movie with a burning passion, but that doesn’t mean I’m unfair to the people that like it. It’s a bad movie, but if people like it, that’s cool.
@@thefilmwatcher1302 I hate the MCU version with a passion until NWH. They bastardized Peter and made him into a whitewashed Miles Morales. At that point might as well have started with Miles in the first place. Plus they feel very childish with the exception of a few things like the villains which were honestly the only good things about it but also are ruined because they are basically Tony's sloppy second villains instead of it being born from Peter
@@hwanniggles187 See, this is exactly what I’m talking about. You people that just like to start shit for no reason because you know your opinion will get you likes. I didn’t even talk about the MCU Spider-Man; this is just you trying to bait me into an argument. If I wanted an argument in this thread, I would have gone off on an unwarranted tangent on why I thought Andrew’s Spider-Man sucked. Because before December, I despised him, and I’d be willing to reach as far as possible to disparage him.
This is one of if not the best spiderman scene ever. Absolutely astonishing to the music and the tension to the jump. Then the swinging gives me goosebumps every time I watch it. Guess you can say it’s amazing
This scene alone tops all MCU Spidey movies. Spiderman 2 > TASM > Spiderman 1 > Homecoming > TASM2 > Spiderman 3 > FFH
why FFH is in the last? it was awesome , atleast it was way better than homecoming
@@aryanshaw2462 it was not as good as Homecoming lol, so boring.
This TASM 1 scene has better CGI than in whole NWH, but i still love it for bringing Tobey and Andrew back!
This scene signifies when you need to face a obstacle in the world you will always have people to support you and guide you where to go
Your on the nose but no, this scene signifies that having a good heart & helping others will always leave a mark on others to possibly help you later (the man that set up the cranes was the dad of the kid Peter saved)

I know a lot of people hate the suit, but I think it's a bit more realistic from the bright colors as here, Spidey is more of a vigilante at the start and moves into being a hero at the end and thats why he has a brighter suit in TASM 2
Hate the suit??!!? When I was a kid and I first saw this suit, I literally started gaping, this was by far my favorite suit, and it still is my favorite suit. Imo, the TASM1 suit is better than the TASM2 suit. The TASM2 suit looks too much like Tobey Maguire's suit, the TASM1 suit had that amazing blue/red contrast which blended together perfectly, and it had slightly smaller, yellow eye pieces. Nothing will ever beat the TASM1 suit for me.
People hate this suit? I am done with people.
Wdym? I always thought this was the best suit because it kinda looked liked alien. It looked wet from an angle and those black lens looked cool. Even stan lee said this was the best spiderman suit and he didn't like tasm 2 suit design
This is my most favourite scene in any Spider-Man film. It’s done so beautiful it made me feel like I was swinging next to Peter with the music and everything 😊❤❤
Whenever i need a little motivation I always come back to this piece of cinematic history because that's how great it is
