As coach for over a decade, I say unless your relationship has gotten to a point of no return (too much toxicity), forgiveness is key -- but should be both ways -- after some time apart. Granted this isn't always the case though, so it really depends.

That's one way of looking at it! As I always say, the decision is ultimately up to you. You know your situation and your ex best. Sometimes a relationship can be salvaged and worth the save but sometimes it isn't, especially if there's cheating or some other type of abuse involved or if it was overall a dysfunctional/toxic relationship. It's your life and it's your decision.

Lot of love & praises to you ❤
I broke up with my ex a year ago..I've come across your video lot sooner.but made lots of mistakes as I've kind of habit of repeating mistakes even after realising..this year Feb we had a big fight after that I've unfriended & unfollowed her from every social media. But even after that she texted me two different times after that we started reconnecting slowly. Feeling so much confidence & gained lot of knowledge on how dynamics of a relationship works. We met once had a good time..& started reconnecting hope we'll be back together soon..

Exactly, that is the point. To find out WETHER you want your ex back.
I noticed how confusing it is to listen to videos about getting your ex back BEFORE you are clear about whether you actually want it.
Especially, if personality disorders are at work like the narcissistic one, things get very confusing.
That is always the problem with generalized advices on social media: the individual situation is always somewhat different.
So I would say, this channell, too, has a lot of valuable information.
But at the end of the day, you are the king of your own kingdom: you can listen carefully to your trusted advisors, think about it, synthetize your knowledge and make your own decisions.
Especially in the early phase of the breakup, it is extremely difficult to see where you actually are, whether to act or pull back, whether to hope or let it go.
And yes: if you are confused (by mixed messages for example), the best is to create inner space for yourself as good as you can.
Thanks for coming back to me!

I said all the things mentioned tbh 😂 but even tho it was my fault that we end up in this situation, and I did steps to be a better version of myself, he still behaves disrespectful and cruel, from the moment we broke up. It’s like he is a different person. But, as much as I want this relationship to work, I can’t let him behave to me like this anymore just because he thinks I deserve it. As you may have already suspected, begging does affect your chances. But depending on what really cut the relationship short, it may be time to consider moving on from this. But don't rush. Always take the time to give each other space first, all right? Do a minimum of 3 weeks of "no contact" and see if you still want your ex and if your ex is receptive to contact AFTER that period. Hey, Coach. So, I broke no contact at 34 days. I got so fixated on attachment styles that I figured with her attachment style, it would be worth a try... so I took a chance.
"Hey, "V", just wondering how you're doing, how's(her daughter)? How's school going?" Verbatim.
She messaged back an hour later saying it was so nice to hear from me. We texted back and forth the last few days. I kept my messages to the point and "one step behind".
Tonight, she came out to my place and we had, what I think, a wonderful conversation. There was no relationship talk. Little hints from her end here and there but I tried my best to "skip over" past relationship issues.
3 hours later, as she was leaving, she hugged me.... tightly. Even as I tried to let go, she held on.
She opened the door and looked at me and said, "I don't know what would make you think I wouldn't want to see you."
I pulled her back inside, held her hand and explained that I understood why she felt she had to break things off. I didn't show her respect where it was due and this breakup has really opened my eyes to my part in why our relationship failed.
She said she believed that things had to end the way they did and I agreed(appeared to, at least).
I then walked her to her car, said goodbye and suggested another meet up soon. She agreed without hesitation. I kept getting the old "eye contact-kiss me" feeling from her, but I held back.
I want to write to her and tell her I had a great time but instincts told me to go no contact directly after the break up so I'll follow the same and not write to her.
My heart is pounding in my chest, Coach. What do I do now?
I'll be damned if I should have kissed her!😅

Snaps, although not really boring, won't do much when it comes to reconnecting so I suggest to use it sparingly but you can alternate them with text. Just don't use it as the only means of communication with your ex. But yes, you can reach out to your ex after the 30 days straight of "no contact" period is over. In doing so, it's best to treat the situation with fresh eyes, so it's crucial to keep things fun and light and gently coax your ex into responding the same way. How long should I go on a break that wants no contact..

    • @breakupbradbrowning
      @breakupbradbrowning  Před 2 měsíci

Average time is 30 days but can go anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks in usual cases. If there's been some endless begging and/or refusing to cut off contact on your end, however, I usually suggest to give it more time, around 2 months or even more. Cheating instances are different if you've cheated, could be longer or shorter depending on how your ex reacts. Do take note that in some instances where the dumpee just couldn't take the hint and continually bugs their ex for months, there comes a time where the ex reaches a "breaking point" and confirms it's the right decision to break up and becomes hellbent in moving on from you. So the bottom line is the "no contact" rule is best applied when the breakup is still fresh. Discussed the importance of silence here: czcams.com/video/zw0ChuXCEmw/video.html Also don't forget to watch my other vids so you'll know what to do after the "no contact" phase, especially if you're not getting my 2.0 version of the Ex Factor Guide. This depends on the progress between you two and how receptive your ex is. In general, I suggest to focus on texting and try not to meet up when one or both of you aren't ready yet. The phase you're on (assuming you've done the first phase correctly which is the 30-day no contact rule) is the second phase where you're rebuilding attraction. It's part two of the 3-phase system in my guide but here's a quick overview to help you understand better: y2u.be/7JtmVbDkblw but as you go on this phase, you'll notice one or more signs here: y2u.be/nmRM3dZAzDA and the best you can do is to continue to play your cards right and move to the third phase when you're both ready.
