My friends and i have been calling that zone Texas. It's funny that they live so close to the main town but their accents are so wildly different.
I live in Arizona, and it is a spitting image of Superstition Mountains. It definitely reminds me of El Paso, TX as well.

Hey John, been following you on patreon for a while now and love all your compositions, learned to play many of them myself. I been searching for so long a classical guitar rendition of the opening red wing theme song from ff2 American release. It was my dad’s favorite music from a game. He passed away 3 months ago and I’ve been trying to transcribe it myself so I could play it for him when I visit his resting place. But my skill at composition is very bad . If it’s not too much trouble, could you put that on the list for when you have the time? Love you bro

Was this song a play on something from an earlier FF? Whenever I hear it in game or even now here, it always sounds familiar to me like I heard it or something very similar before Dawntrail.
Edit: ok I think it's Hollow (specifically the acoustic instrumental "Hollow Skies") from FF7R that this reminds me of for some reason, does that make any sense musically?
