Shopping in Malta can be a unique experience if you know where to go. We had the opportunity to go to the Ta 'Qali Craft Village, which is comprised of re-purposed WWII hangers.

You will find many independent artists in the craft villages of Malta! It is in these shops that visitors will most likely find a unique and individual piece of art, which are always the best things to buy. Ta 'Qali is particularly unique in the fact that all of the shops have been made up in very old WWII airplane hangers. When it comes to 'where to shop in Malta', the craft villages will usually be more affordable than the middle of Victoria or close to the airport. Ta 'Qali is a cheap travel destination in Malta, as well as Gharb, on the Island of Gozo; we will be doing an episode on Gharb in the future.
