I love these homes. This is a fabulous builder. Such quality.
I looked in Wrenn Creek. It’s deep in Waxhaw and will be a small community shared with Eastwood Homes who is also building. I like M/I Homes though. They build some nice houses. My favorite model they build is the Blythe. But back to the community, it’s going to be a small community with nice sized lots. The amenity center is going to be basic but it’s not a dealbreaker.

I wish that developers would add real offices ( so people dont have to sacrifice a bedroom) as well as functional formal living rooms with fireplaces. Having only a Great Room, is so redundant in these builds. Some people want to have both the formal and informal living spaces. They ask for premium prices, but be skipping on services.
Look into a split level floor plan (our builder calls ours a 5-level split). It gives us open concept main level, great room plus separate living room, and also multiple rooms for separate hobby/office spaces that are not bedrooms or basement. It’s best of all worlds for us. I heard “split level” and thought of 70s homes with split level front entries, but it’s not that type of floor plan at all.

This house is nice, but for $400K+ I do not want to see any wire racks that you can purchase at Target for $12.98. The MBedeoom is gorgeous. Can we see the pantry in more videos? I feel like a pantry can make or break a home. Thanks for the videos.

I love watching tours. I see lots of questions in these comments about price, and the answer is “low 400s.” But that model, as shown, has at least another 100k of design center, electrical, appliance and structural/elevation upgrades. That shower? There are probably 8 layers of upgrade charges involved there alone. At least 15k in the floors. just wish there was more transparency on the front end with the prices. All that custom wall treatment? Upgrade, upgrade, upgrade. We’re at the end of a build, and I’ve learned a lot over the past 10 months. The design process is lots of fun, but it’s also crushing to have to put some dream finishes on the chopping block. Lots of tough choices. Don’t go to a model and suggest it can be obtained for anywhere near the “starting at” price.
Price as we see it? Is.....6 or 7 hundred thousand. Just curious. Lots off upgrades to consider..but beautiful home! Makes me want to reconsider a master up floorplan. 😊

Hi Franklin, this model begins in the low $400k. Mortgage payment would be calculated based on that and other factors. The 2020 tax rate for Union county is 38.5 cents per $100 of assessed property value.
