Geesh. They are so fragile. My parrots stress me out cuz I love them so much and they’re so little. I had a bird choke and died and since then it’s triggering when I hear a wheezing noise. And that was 11 years ago.
my bird once choked from eating his snuggle sack and getting the soft fibres stuck in his throat. he was foaming at the mouth and i was so scared but i turned him upside down and he was fine afterwards, luckily
Just to make sure I'm doing it right if it happens (too scared to have mistakes with this one) upside down like it's head will be pointing at the floor and it's legs up right?
@@mahshad1649 i held him like you normally hold a bird when you’re picking them up and moving them (he was 100% handtamed so this might be harder for other birds) then i just flipped him upside down so his feet were pointing up and his head was pointing at the ground. I can’t remember if I massaged his throat but you might want to double check if that’s ok, but gravity should help him cough whatever is in out
I found this thinking my parrot was choking and you take too long to get to the point thanking viewers, long intro and a bunch of wasting of time comments!!! Get to fn point! Don’t title this what to do if your parrot is choking! Should be a quick video, identify and remedy video only! You could cause parrots to die wasting valuable time!

My baby bird gags on me every once in a while, looks like he is trying to regurgitate but nothing happens, it’s been a few months of it and he is fine
