my bird once choked from eating his snuggle sack and getting the soft fibres stuck in his throat. he was foaming at the mouth and i was so scared but i turned him upside down and he was fine afterwards, luckily

@@mahshad1649 i held him like you normally hold a bird when you’re picking them up and moving them (he was 100% handtamed so this might be harder for other birds) then i just flipped him upside down so his feet were pointing up and his head was pointing at the ground. I can’t remember if I massaged his throat but you might want to double check if that’s ok, but gravity should help him cough whatever is in out

They really do respond to and understand humour! I've seen them intelligently reply to human jokes and enjoy "one up" verbal jousting. A good example is Cosmo the funny parrot on CZcams, who likes to insist that she has hair and Mummy has feathers. She gets a real kick out of it😂 And they don't show humour when they're neglected, afraid or in a negative atmosphere. It seems, similarly to humans, humour emerges only when the parrot is happy and feels secure and loved❤
So, how do birds which show no visual distinction tell the gender of each other?
Thank you for your question. Parrots mostly identify gender through color and pattern recognition in UV light. This isn't visible to the human eye. Their calls, songs, and behavior also play a vital role.
Geesh. They are so fragile. My parrots stress me out cuz I love them so much and they’re so little. I had a bird choke and died and since then it’s triggering when I hear a wheezing noise. And that was 11 years ago.

How is your parrot now? Did the peak grow back?
Still not sure why ours does it...he will hop onto our shoulders, then 'knock' on our shoulders, upper arms or cheek...sometimes hands and fingers if we're patting him. This is sometimes accompanied by 'bobbing'.
You are good to explain beak issues, but you know what... Even if beak of your budgie is broken from base, ✓ it will took almost 6 to 7 months or can take up to 9 months to re-grow, because beaks are also a kind of nails ( 💅) . I have a that kind female budgie, I was surprised after watching her beak again. 💕💚😯 (((Medicine 💉💊 is known as POLYFAX tube or lotion)) once a week.

My baby bird gags on me every once in a while, looks like he is trying to regurgitate but nothing happens, it’s been a few months of it and he is fine
I just check with my vet to make sure he is at the right whate I'm watching this with my budgie I suggest Harrisons Bird Food (High Potenxy, Super Fine for Canaries finches parakeet parrotlets cockatiels and lovebirds!) They did say in the video "add toys to youre birds cage." I personally think you should have toys in the cage anyways I have 15 toys right now most cages will not hold that much toys, my cage can. I think everyone's cage should hold 3 to 5 toys at lest I am not you or your veterinarian, so you can rase you're bird any way you choose, and last but not least sorry for any Grammer mistakes!
