Also. I love their friendship. I love that Eminem gets all the respect and love he could ever want from the generation before him. Because that’s really all he ever wanted. Yeah, a little from some of his peers (like Jay) a little from the immediate generation after (like Wayne) and absolutely does not care about this generation (but will take it from guys like Harlow and Cordae). I Liked Revival and i get it,a lotta people didn't, music is subjective.Mr.Porter said it before the album dropped, that it had something for everyone.Something for everyone meant different styles,many won't like all of them.
But the amount of hate on the internet was too much.People start comparisons and saying shit like "eminem should get high again" its like a fun thing to shit on Coz hey everyone is doing it.I felt the same thing Crooked I said,I liked a lotta things on it, and some tracks weren't my type, That's okay. But the moment you say it on the internet you'll get replies like "that was garbage, you're a blind follower"damn.
Artists have different facets, you like the chlora remix angry Em , but what if he's feeling something else and wants to put out a walk on water? It's his music, his way of expression.
I still feel Revival is an imp part of his discography,Im glad i got to listen to tracks like castle and arose,and believe,tragic endings and river too.Em must be having a lot of tracks that wont be released Coz they didn't cater to the large audience,50 said they had entire Relapse 2 made.I hope we get to hear them sometime.

Yeah it’s a good album not my fav but believe, castle & arose are some of the most soul piercing songs Iv ever heard I can’t listen without crying. That’s the most vulnerable Ems been he poured his heart out on those. They touch my heart like his rock bottom, beautiful, when I’m gone, mockingbird, I need a dr, bestfriend, sing for the moment & toy soliders did. I don’t think there’s been an MC more soul bearing then Em.
Bro you don't know how much Rock Bottom means to me. The way he described it is how I have always sort of pictured it to be like and about. It has helped me get past everything I have dealt with when I have time to think. Word for word.

I love revival Em, u absolutely di not miss the mark with that at all. it s just too smart for alot of dumbs, but it s a perfect album: WOW,believe, like home, in your head, castle , arose, framed, offended, bad husband, river, need me and chloroseptic, that s not missing the mark at all. I was there at twickenham on the 14th for the first time to see u live and it took me to come from egypt specially to see u because of this album. Revival went viral :D

Great interview! Uncle L's new 'Brass Knuckles' song that they played near the end of the interview, is so fuckin nasty! This is the best material that LL's dropped in years! It sounds like 1985-1990 classic LL. And I was in stitches when Em told that Fat Joe story, Lmao! The new 'Kamikaze' album is fuckin incredible, and I can't wait until Uncle L drops 'G.O.A.T. 2'.
