This event was certainly a polarizing event to review- because it had some of the best action I've ever seen... while also being a little frustrating at times.

I was there and man let me tell you. As much as I hate fan judging we were really harsh and strict. So many 5's and 6's
Was there, camdens freestyle was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen 🤘
With all those freestyles being cut short, it reminds me of how that happened a lot during World Finals 16. Most would crash violently, others would flip bottoms up. So many freestyles short lived.
World Finals 16 had something you rarely see today....refusal to quit, and officials not being trigger happy with the R.I.I., granted this year they're more lenient. But every driver that rolled over in World Finals 16 was allowed to try to save it. Cam McQueen and Alex Blackwell giving it everything they've got as well. And George Balhan in Mohawk Warrior ruined the front end and was briefly allowed to continue. Tom Meents probably would've won freestyle if they wouldn't have shut him off.
Awesome to see Koehler hit his stride again, and can't wait to see how the season wraps up for him!

after Arlington, Camden seems to be running in a MJU chassis, as I’m guessing his chassis is being repaired
I watched the first show of the year in San Antonio. I thought that was half decent and I was wicked happy that Tom won freestyle. Then I went to this since I’m now a Dallas native and I don’t think I will ever go to a better show lol…..

Isnt it crazy to think that many of the most amazing freestyles were done by trucks that went out second?!?!?

For a while to me, Neil Elliott’s freestyle was the greatest, and now Camden dethroned him that’s awesome.
Foely's run ended when he broke the rear left back shock off it's mount

Somebody finally told him he was staying on the throttle a tad too long and all he needed was a simple touch of the throttle instead of a purp of the throttle

The RII’s this year are absolutely ridiculous I get trucks get shut off if something is broken or the truck has electrical or mechanical issues but shutting off ThunderRoarus was absolutely ridiculous and why do they care so much if a truck accidentally hits the dumpster it’s not like they damaged the venue property lol
But I give it a 2.5 Star for the show

6:56 I saw the back left wheel lock up, which would explain why Colt was shut off.
Tbh the new officials on this tour suck. They shut off Camden after the dragon wings fell off the truck. Had they not done that he would have gotten possibly the first 10. The officials had a decent streak of justifiable shut offs but a few of these were questionable. Charlie being shut off was bullshit. Colt Stephens got shut off because of broken planetary and Joe Foley got shut off because of a broken wheel. Noticed how it wobbled and freewheeled right before he got shut off.
They probably pissed him off to the point where he pulled off that crazy run. He doesn't get shut off I doubt that crazy second half happens.
No one is going to get a 10.
I do agree with Bakugan having by far the freestyle of the season, but I gotta say the dirt for this show wasn’t as tacky as it should be, or maybe the dirt wasn’t as good as it should be before they grabbed it and laid it out
