In addition to taking care of her mother, Serra works in a luxury hotel and studies at a private university on a scholarship; Despite his young age, he had to take on great responsibilities. Selim, the heir apparent of the wealthy Kutlusay Family, who is studying at the same university, receives criticism from his family, especially his father İhsan Kutlusay, for his indifference to his studies and his fondness for entertainment.
Serra, who is trying to get out of work and catch up with class, goes to school by limousine as a result of an incident at the hotel, causing all eyes to be on her. While Serra's fame spreads rapidly at school, their accidental meeting with Selim will completely change the lives of both of them.

We live in a fallen world having to deal with childhood traumas and societal expectations etc. This is not just a romantic series. Kudos to the makers for putting this together 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Yes I really like this series for issues the writer tries to address.How most parents think of the physical needs of their kids leaving the psychological needs. It also makes us understand that we all need help; the rich needs it as well as the poor.I wish every parent watch this

They filled the little boys' and girls' head with garbage like "boys don't cry" "be a man" "take all the loads of all kinds of problems on your shoulders because you are a man". and "She is a woman so she is weak and always needs help and it is your responsibility to do it for her." These are all wrong ideas that they filled our heads with.
People are people may be some physical differences but everyone is made of flesh and blood . Everyone needs needs to be able to cry when they have pain inside . Everyone should be able to express what they feel inside (in a safe way to themselves and to others). No one's gender should dictate how they should be feeling and reacting to pain. I agree with you 100% Serra is not responsible for Selim and she has her own wounds to heal. Also Selim has deep wounds from his childhood and as an adult he has been abused again. I think a happy union is that of two people independent who do not need the other one to stand up. This two both need therapy in order to succeed to have happy life together.

@@maryjaneudensi6211 I think what Asena and her husband( selim's father) had was a contractual marriage or asena signed a pre-nuptial agreement where from the very beginning was stated that they will not going to have a child. So obviously, Asena was trying to lobby her current position as wife and later use her pregnancy or her child to have a better financial future if something happens to her husband, as shown from the other previous episodes. And also, she portrayed as a gold digger, former model with losing career so what's better way to end up with but to catched a wealthy old husband. She even sold the one pair of earrings of her daughter-in-law. If you have a good intention or personality, would you do that?

Actually, the negative and villainous elements are given more priority than the good, innocent and simple elements. That's a major drawback. Yet, they keep mesmerising us everytime we see this serial. Sara's pairing with Selim is far more enchanting than her pairing with the protagonist in "The Promise"

He thought serra treat the same like his father did to him without showing love and care and he doesn't need that kind of behavior but love reigns, he deeply and seriously inlove serra. I love serra and selim to be couple in real life,they look good together. I love selim very much,the way he treated his girl was superb. looking forward for the next episode. For someone whos lived in poverty, I understood why she was worried about the condition of that place. She wont have the money to pay for compensation and it would be difficult for the cleaning lady to clean. She understood the hassle cause she was a cleaning lady too
Actually, she first asked him if he was okay and tried to check his hand when he kind of snached it from her and told her he's okay and would handle it himself. She then again wanted to check on his hand, which was bleeding, and wanted to make sure they don't stain the carpet while doing that. So, what's wrong with trying not to mess the carpet? Thus diesnt mean that she doesnt care about him. Even our mothers do the same thing in real life. While he doesn't know the hard work cleaners put into and the value of stuffs, she works hard on those. He's just being too sensitive and a baby. He wants & is used to too much attention. She didn't tell him she loved him back, and that's the whole issue. He should hear the word cause he said it?!!!!

Serra loves him but she’s scared that she will get hurt because the people whom she loved have left her (her father abandoning her & brother committing suicide) that is why she is so defensive, she’s had a tough life so she has to be like this. Barbaros explained it well. She’s not rude or conceited. And Selim is very sensitive but he does love Serra very much. The toxic ones who hurt Selim are his own friends and dad. Im enjoying the relationship development between Barbaros and Selim. Says a lot about Barbaros, he’s a good guy.

The people who are judging Serra need to understand she's not used to opening up her heart to anyone, other than her mother, who still betrays her from time to time. She's lived a tough life and had to grow a tougher exterior to protect herself. I mean she's watched so many of her loved ones walk out of her life. Also Selim shouldn't rely on another person to make him happy. You should learn to love yourself before loving someone else. He began to become too dependant on Serra to be some kind of emotional support.
However, I do think Serra could have been a little bit more understanding in the beginning of the episode with the blood. That was kinda harsh.

Selim has been and is still going through alot. He uses violence as a cathartic way to express his emotions because no one around him seem to listen to him. And I don’t blame him, serra is being extremely stubborn rn, she’s letting her past trauma affect her present life whereas selim is still experiencing all the pain and struggles at present. His grandmother’s words were so powerful “don’t torture each other” and let each other go.

As a person who doesn’t have a mother too, somehow i feel selim too, he feels so lonely in his own house, even there’s his full family, but though, his dad’s always blames him, saying that he couldn’t protect the ones that he loves, i mean, dude, come on, his dad was Cheating on his mom while his mom was laying sick on bed, and now selim must live in a house where the woman who cheated on his dad with, i couldn’t imagine how hard selim’s life is, if i were serra, i would always tell selim how precious and important he is in serra’s life , so that selim doesn’t’ feel unloved
yes thisssss is so true. But then again all the trauma that Serra has gone through as well, her growing up believe that all men will offend and lie to you and then proceed to leave you. The two clearly do love each other very much but its their traumatic past that creates barriers between them which triggers other traumas. What are we going to find out in later episodes i wonder

I think the writers did a big mistake in giving Selim and Idil a sex relationship. I mean she gave him very good advices in this episode and it would have been better if she was just his mother’s friend to whom he could go to and take advices sometimes but the sex part just ruins everything

Serra is dealing with the effects of having sex for the first time. (A very confusing time). In addition, she was also a cleaner at the hotel. So, talking about all the blood in the room that has to be cleaned up makes sense.
Yeah actually it does . Plus she is very secretive about her life whereas Selim isn't and had had talked about it . He expresses his emotions violent but Serra just keeps it inside and trys her best not to show it , which further makes her guarded all the time
