she is the QUEEN......I know she is happy to be back home with her stall mates and all the great people at the barn......she knew she was back and wanted to get out of the trailer quickly......uniek understands exactly what Yvonne is saying....another beautiful video of Friesians running in their ancestral grass fields....I hope everyone at the barn can stay warm given the temperature is below freezing in Friesland today with the wind howling......others might disagree with me but I think friesians are the smartest horse breed and they continue to show it in these videos....so much fun to watch with amazement.....thank you Yvonne for posting another great video for the herd...they are a joy to watch.

Here in the USA, if we cannot get cooperation from others, we say it's like "trying to herd cats." Maybe we should change that to "trying to herd Friesian mares."

Here in the USA, I live in a small house with three cats. I know from experience that it is difficult but not impossible to herd cats. Ya gotta have a routine which gives them rewards for the behaviors you want. I can gather the cats together to do a kitty count by saying, "Ok, who wants treats?! Treat time!" I do that every morning and my dear sweet kitties come running, eager to get thier treats, each in thier same chosen spot every day. They don't steal treats from each other either.
Not like Queen 👑Uniek, who has been known to steal pellets😉

I love Eefje's logic, she goes over the wire while Yvonne is away but when she's back Eefje is like "If I don't step over it while she's looking she won't notice" while she's stuck on the other side.
They never escape while you are watching. Never! Little rascals. They know exactly what they are doing. 😂

I think it’s KOOL that they come when You call them. Just like dogs. Most people have to use treats but they know when they’re called they get something to eat. SUPER!!

@@LindaEll89 is that cold for you there? I’m not a person for cold, I love the sun 🌞. I practically live outside in the summer, I love to garden and I hate to go inside at nite😊. Right now we have temperature of 10 degrees F. But I goes below 0 at nite. 🥶🥶🥶, that’s me🤗
@@LindaEll89 that sounds really nice but it’s still not more me. I agree, the high humidity makes it hard but I would still rather deal with that than the cold. When I get cold, I just can’t warm up especially my hands and feet. I think when I was really young I must have gotten a little frost bit. It doesn’t take much for me to get cold. 🥶

So much to enjoy in this video but my favorite is at 6.30 where Eefje is in the meadow behind and galops the whole lenght at full speed! She is splendid with her mane in the wind, an explosion of joy in her high speed run (with the complete meadow to herself ☺)!

It is bitter sweet to see this video today, 2 weeks after we lost our Uniek. I am grateful for all the many videos there are of her. May she rest in peace with Star and my Yvonne soon fine true happiness when she sees videos of her. It was also good to see Senna, I am certain Senna was also there to greet Uniek 😪💔

Just amazing - every time I watch your videos I’m reminded that God really did an amazing job when he created the horse and thru your videos we see that. watching the horses run in the meadows and watching the friendships they have with one another is breathtaking. Ohhhh I'm so pleased to see my Lady, Queen Uniek back. I used to wish that I had blue eyes but when I see the Friesians eyes, Im so pleased my eyes are also brown. I've been told that means a soft nature. ❤💗❤
Wow, the relationships among the mares is so interesting! That little dance Richtsje did, never saw anything like that before. Well, the Queen is back, so maybe someday Richtsje, but not yet! Princess Eefje is quite a scamp, definitely not interested in following the crowd. Always love seeing the fillies, not really babies anymore but still so cute.

Uniek the Queen and #1 leader of all is back. Very interesting how the social dynamic of the herd changes as different groups reunite. When Reintje, Saly and Frieda come back it will change again. I think Eefje misses BFF Freida and is getting bullied a bit from Pjirkje and Richtsje. A little tough being the youngest and lowest rank.
Totally agree with that Jeff , she looks a bit lost since Frieda's gone, I suppose It would be like being 15 again but having to spend all day every day with your great Aunties 👵👵👵👵🙈
