Such a big group. It’s so great that they never push or scare the horses into obeying. They wait for consent. So the horses will always trust them. Beautiful.
I am constantly amazed as to how well behaved the horses are in the stable......and coming and going......I think part of it is because they are friesians and part because of the calm and peaceful aura yvonne and staff put out there for the horses

@@lauslora6511 yes you must have watched a different CZcams channel to us! At no stage and at anytime are the horses stressed, their body language is a sure indication, apart from how the owner and staff are extremely careful at not stressing the horses. Remember these videos are cropped by Yvonne, so we do not see how long they carefully take to get the horses in, especially the youngsters as they are learning. Have a good day.
Yes they're treated like autonomous creatures with their own inclination & purposes (for the most part)
Just the way they're allowed to wander around the stable, in & out of stalls, their own choice in their own time reflects their approach & philosophy

Johnny is thinking, “They can’t help themselves, they’re just little moths who have fluttered too near my flame!” But all credit to Yvonne’s work, the girls follow her back to the stable to engage in their ritual milling about! Aw, that couldn't be comfortable, poor Geertje! She stood so well for treatment. It's a joy watching the young horses move as a herd
Yvonne mentioned several times that the treatment felt good to Geertje, because it relieved the itching. She likened it to how it feels when the horses nibble each other when they do mutual grooming. So I’m sure Geertje was fine.

This video shows how observant and constantly aware they are with the horses, That spot looked like mud, to me. I'm thinking close daily checks on each horse is what they do. That is a lot of work. Gea is so stunning. lol, and yes it does appear the teen girls are fascinated with 'MR, Johnny Too KOOL' Remined me of teen girls at a all boy band concert...lol...

I love watching the teenagers move together then meander around the barn before walking into a stall they have such beautiful long bangs & natural highlights. Gea the busybody really wanted attention “excuse me why does Geertje get special scratches AND her own nickname I want some too” she really is very sweet when she’s not trying to boss the humans around.💖💖I smiled watching the conversation between the M gang Marije wasn’t giving in to Mathilde getting some food she had the best spot she definitely makes the rules among the 3,fitting for a Kroon Princess.❤️❤️👑👑
I love Marije, she’s always keen to be in front of the others.
Marije and Lianne are my faves, two Saly sisters. Amazing that Marije stands her ground although she’s smaller.

As they were 'deciding' about following you or not while moving back & forth, they made me think of a group of early teen girls all gathered together. Watching you handle them is so satisfying.

I think it's nice that you treated her with all her stable mates watching on. I'm sure that helps build trust as well. They can watch you doing strange things to her but still know that you aren't hurting her.
It is fun to see the highlights in everyone's manethey look like they all spent time at the salon.When they ran in the pasture I was surprised they didn't keep going instead it was put the brakes on and go back to where we were,but they are so good at follow the leader.

Funny...that this is somehow therapeutic to watch the nasty rain rot scabs get scraped off. That one area was quite large. You can see at 10:25 mark, in Geertje eyes, how relieved she is to get some treatment for the itchy areas.

I love Fresiens. I almost purchased a small herd of them a few years ago. The problem was that with fresiens it's like you have to build up a relationship every time you interact with them, sort of have to gain their trust again. It doesn't seem like the bond is the same as it is with other horses.
I love them, I think they are the most beautiful of all horses. It takes a special kind of person to work with them. you have to be beyond patient because they will push your limits often.

They are gentle giants, easy to train, easy to ride. One just needs to remember their size and that they are strong! Look how small framed Yvonne is, but she certainly can handle them. Young and old. She always let's us know the precautions she is taking...to keep from being trapped and maybe injured when she is with several horses at a time!
Yvonne is a great teacher for us, she is always sharing her thoughts about safety. This is appreciated by me and I am sure many other viewers.
