I just realized not a single fight on the main card made it past the 2nd round.
That's why it was soo much promo in between fights
So many kick finishes as well..

You have an amazing ability to confidentially argue a position when you are totally wrong. He wasn't limping. Do you know what a limp is ? Look up the word. His ankle was totally giving out on him and he was falling down because of it. If I hear you say "limp" one more time I may explode.
Na Liang was crumpled on the canvas and the referee allowed song yadong to pick her up and carry her back to her stool so she could fight another round.
But Jimmy Crute has to show he can walk without any issues otherwise it's off

@@keithsstepdad she fought another round and had moments where a win could've been achieved, just like cejudo dethroning DJ after the same thing happened to his leg, on a dead leg Crute won the last minute of the round against smith, walked back to his corner, his ankle buckled once in front of the ref whilst he was walking backwards and it was called off, so he WALKED over to smith PICKED HIM UP, and then WALKED back to his corner, then WALKED to joe rogan, then WALKED out of the cage and to backstage.

@@the-mma-guru Ok. But did you have a meaningful point to make ? He took Smith down 3 times because he couldn't do anything else. He couldn't rely on being able to stand up without having his ankle buckle and doing even more damage to himself. If you open your eyes you can see that he couldn't even stand up in his corner without his ankle bending. If you can't reliably stand up a medical stoppage is called for ... end of story.
Don't know why this fight in particular has seemingly turned your brain to mush. Did you make a bad bet? Claiming that Crute was winning the fight is equally ridiculous to your whining about the stoppage. Smith was in the process of turning his face to hamburg with his jab and was in total control but you would never know it listening to your analysis.

That crute stopage was a good stoppage. He wasn’t even able to take steps let alone keep his leg down to throw strikes if he kept fighting he would have permanent damage in his leg that didnt look good not a nerve like thing he got kicked walked forward and fell shot for the takedown so the ref didnt stop it then when they wanted him to take small steps back and forth he almost falls his leg was worst then santos vs jones and o malley

This fighter are humans that have family, the fight was a good stoppage smith would have won that fight in the second round by tko and might have left his opponent in worse situation.
And it didn't hurt Crute's position in the division.

Crute wasn't just limping his foot was literally rolling under him and giving out, he was gonna break it if he kept walking on it. That fight had to be stopped. Completely different situation than Conor.

Weidmans bone came out his leg there was a cut if you see the replay i think thid is chris last fight bc when you put weight on it you damage your leg for good
His injury looked worse to me than Andersons. Anderson pulled his leg back and it collapsed but he fell to the side and his leg got folded in half at the breaking point. Chris looked like he pulled his leg back and it collapsed but instead of falling to the side he had the broken leg right underneath him and it looked like his shin got crunched together like an accordion. So instead of pointing in opposite directions the broken pieces of shin get crushed into each other and pushed past each other inside the leg. As far as I know that type of break causes more soft tissue damage

@@dokancool nah it will be durable again if it heals properly. It probably won't break again. But an injury like that is gonna put him out of training for a LONG time. I don't know if you can really get into the same kind of world-class athlete conditioning at 36 and get that leg those leg muscles strong as they used to be after such a long recovery. Look at Thiago Santos, he didn't snap his knee again when he came back and fought but you could definitely tell he didn't have that same athleticism anymore.
The worst part is probably mental. Even if a doctor told me the bone is all healed up and it's not gonna break I just wouldn't be able to trust my leg the same way again in a fight

Crute literally said he was going to pull guard immediately because that's all he was able to do. Smith definitely won that round either way. The stoppage was warranted, he could have seriously fucked his leg up. Apparently his knee was already blown.
If all he was able to do was pull guard then why did he takedown smith three times at the end of round 1, he was just accepting defeat nicely.

Did Crute get stopped by the ref or the doctor? They can't give that decision to the doctor and not expect the doc to end the fight. By stopping the fight the doctor avoids all liability.

Casual of casuals speaking, but i just got back into MMA recently. Just got hip to Usman during the Covington fight. Apply all the fight math to Usman vs Covington you want. Neither one wrestled etc. That was one of the greatest fights I've ever seen in the sport. Knock down, drag out slug fest ending with a broken jaw TKO. I know Masvidal can bang but I've never seen him as intense as those two were. Usman is a different animal right now. I was hoping for Masvidal to pull it off, but he's going to have to get some new catch phrases. 🤣

I wonder if Masvidal knew that shot was open. Usman went for it several times in the first round. Masvidal may have thought he would catch Usman with the counter which he threw. In the event he did not catch Usman with the counter Masvidal may have thought he could take the punch. Why not he took it or slipped it in the first round.

Zhang has bad stirking defence and doesnt see shots coming. Maybe you just need to improve your ability to read fighters strengths and weaknesses. This was always a 50/50 fight
she seen the shot coming. and try to dodge a fooking leg kick smh. slid her foot to an off balance stance, threw her right arm guard back and moved her face towards roses shin.
Zhang was tricked. Thug rose lifted her foot as if she was throwing body kick and then immediately accelerated for head kick.
@@temuujinable she did not trick zhang, she got lucky and was blessed, zhang tried to slip a leg kick. not a body kick. did roses say she fainted it to the body(doubt it)? rose was more surprised it landed so fast and clean than zhang. zhang distance control was poor tho as she was standing in perfect head kick range for the entire 40 seconds of the fight and the fact that zhang thought it was a leg kick was a massive mis-calculation on zhang behalf and maybe her coachs cause she should of been more aware of roses head kicks. luckiest kick i have ever seen land. how and why she thought it was aimed at the leg is something only zhang knows

Terrible take on the Crute vs Smith bout, if the O’Malley fight had a 4th round they would have stopped the fight, they didn’t stop this fight mid round, they let Crute finish the round just like they let O’Malley finish the round, if this happens in the 3rd round they go to the scorecards, they had to save Crute from himself and not cause more damage. You probably think they should have let Wideman finish his fight too, right?

It was a hell of KO on Masvidal. I guess his style is too laugh mook from time too time and i like that and hang with his arms down the knees but in a titelfight u dont doo that and drop the guard ever almost. I guess Masvidal underestimated his chin and i belive for sure Colbo wil win over Usman because he sad what was true that Masvidal was scared of takedowns and therefore droped his gurad too be prepard from fades from usman. I think Masvidal could have won this fight just with legkicks and in and out shots with a solid guard. Usman has a great hard jab but overall he has no better boxing then Colby and Masvidal in terms of mixing it up
