This is the band I was privileged to study and jam with at the Stanford Jazz Workshop! Memories for a lifetime.
Not only Getz, but McNeeely, Johnson e Lewis are also giants of jazz.

Coltrane never achieved this level.
How can say this? Coltrane was a true genius. You cannot compare them : their playing was totally different.

McNealy was a guest lecturer at Cornish way back in the early 80s and played one of my compositions. What a great player anyone playing at anytime with Getz I'm interested in.
