Yeah, well, you gotta be ready for all the posibilities. We could also be just a big zoo maintained by some other species, we could be a huge dream - or there might actually be some old fellow on a cloud called God. I hope we, as a people, will never find out, why we're all actually here.
The theory actually states that if you were able to stand at the cosmological horizon you would see the universe as a 2 dimension image that has the abylity to project 3d images. So basically yeah but thats not depressing at all. Its actually pretty cool. If you were standing there and seeing a tiny black spot, that could be earth, just like when you see a black spot on your tv.
Jacob K For me, it would be exciting if it was true. If the universe is a hologram, then we can find and study the surface that generates that hologram... and learn how to change it, bypassing the physical laws that describe the universe. The power to be one's own god.
+DevilMaster Here's a fun theory. We are all part of a beings Imagination and we live inside a giant brain and we are all scenes and characters inside the giant Imagination section of that brain. Kinda like Inside Outs imagination Land but very very expanded.Weird and cool, huh ?
***** That's the beauty of it: if everybody is omnipotent, then everybody is equal. Nobody would try to impose their own vision of how the universe should run to anybody else (if that vision is damaging to someone else), because they would meet an equally strong opposition and every dispute would end up in a stalemate. Instead, they would just create their own bubble universe, where everything is exactly what they want.
Question: I thought Leonard has a clearance in order to work with all of that high-tech equipment. If that's the case, then how did Penny get into Leonard's work area? The writers may not have thought this through.
Scenes like this. If Leonard understood how lucky Penny was to have him he wouldn't be controlled by her all the time and actually have a equal relationship.
I love that she goes "Oooh" at the hologram, but has no reaction when he moves it. Compared to the finger-tracking & visual movement, displaying a 3-D hologram of a scanned object is relatively simple these days... which is definitely a sign of how far technology has come in the past century.
This scene showcases why Leonard and Penny are together. Penny is the kind of girlfriend that will try to find interest in her boyfriend's job even if she isn't really interested, and Leonard is the kind of scientist who knows that and will do his best to gain her interest.
I feel that this scene also told us that Penny isn't unintelligent, just uneducated. She's capable of joking about the science, and of following the whole "hologram" stuff, she just doesn't have the schooling to understand it.
"Then they MAKE OUT"? Making out is not what usually follows the statement "take off your clothes"! As Howard might say "they're gonna do the nasty, the dance with no pants"! According to Sheldon they're preparing for "coitus"! That's more than "making out", that's for sure. 😂😂
Penny should really pay more attention to Leonard's interests and works. A lot of the problems in their relationship stem from Penny's lack of interest and understanding of what Leonard was doing.
"Sometimes I forget how smart you are".
She nailed that line. I loved her.
Then he nailed her

That's the beauty of it: if everybody is omnipotent, then everybody is equal. Nobody would try to impose their own vision of how the universe should run to anybody else (if that vision is damaging to someone else), because they would meet an equally strong opposition and every dispute would end up in a stalemate. Instead, they would just create their own bubble universe, where everything is exactly what they want.
I dunno why, but that actually made me tear up a little bit.
Question: I thought Leonard has a clearance in order to work with all of that high-tech equipment. If that's the case, then how did Penny get into Leonard's work area? The writers may not have thought this through.
that quick wiping of the mouth kaley does after the first kiss tho XD
2:40 Penny being a "big ol' 5" , lucky guy
In other words, our fate is sealed?
Its more likely sea-liond
That's what philosophy is for
They don’t even kiss anymore. They barely even talk to each other. I miss them liking each other
Love Penny say
"High techie techie"
"Low techie techie"
Scenes like this. If Leonard understood how lucky Penny was to have him he wouldn't be controlled by her all the time and actually have a equal relationship.
I'd have to disagree with you, there are times Penny is putty in his hands to, just my observation though
@@willjones455 Leonard is never in control of Penny in this show. She has the upper hand most of the times.
@@peterscotland1507 I never said he was in control, all I said is there are times when she's putty in his hands to
@@willjones455 cool
The way Leonard talks about his work sounds like my high-school/middle-school science teachers.
Miss the show, thanks for the clip. Stay safe.
Which episode is that
The Univerese is a hologram...
BUY GOLD BYE!
Asturianix98 The reality is an ilusion AND the universe is a hologram!
BUY GOLD BYE
Mah boi Bill Cypher
2:27 That's beautiful.
Definitely one of the coolest scenes on the show
Hey, does anyone know what the song played at the party is?
Hi Mr. Galecki,
I hope to see you on another wonderful show. The Big Bang Theory should have won you an Emmy, for sure. You are an amazing actor.
The way Leonard says "what" is cute :D
0:09 she wipes her mouth off from the kiss
He must've done a semi-wet kiss instead of the perfunctory "dry peck" more typical for "greeting kisses"!
The way he started talking reminded me of that one key and peele episode about Neil deGrasse Tyson 😂
I love that she goes "Oooh" at the hologram, but has no reaction when he moves it. Compared to the finger-tracking & visual movement, displaying a 3-D hologram of a scanned object is relatively simple these days... which is definitely a sign of how far technology has come in the past century.
I'm glad to know there is another person who feels like I do. TV is suppose to take us away from our everyday lives.
This is the exact moment when she fell deeply in love with him. She loved him before, but not like now
This scene showcases why Leonard and Penny are together. Penny is the kind of girlfriend that will try to find interest in her boyfriend's job even if she isn't really interested, and Leonard is the kind of scientist who knows that and will do his best to gain her interest.
Simple fact : Penny turn on by Leonard smart talk
“Sometimes I forget how smart you are.”
This line would never be delivered to Sheldon. How much does that say about the character of Leonard?
I did not watch the show regularly but Sheldon never let you forget how smart he is. :-)
"Sharp, thanks to the machine we saw earlier" is such a good line
was the camera going to pan over to fez from that 70's show at the end
Look at that optical table! (The steel table with holes and balanced on air)
I could play with that hologram all my life
I feel that this scene also told us that Penny isn't unintelligent, just uneducated. She's capable of joking about the science, and of following the whole "hologram" stuff, she just doesn't have the schooling to understand it.
Penny is such a dream in this one :)
"Then they MAKE OUT"? Making out is not what usually follows the statement "take off your clothes"! As Howard might say "they're gonna do the nasty, the dance with no pants"! According to Sheldon they're preparing for "coitus"! That's more than "making out", that's for sure. 😂😂
“Sharp, Thanks to The machine we saw earlier.”
Even she knew how stupid that was 😂😂
He looks a little like Bono with those glasses on.
One of the sweetest moments on the show. She sees him as a man of intellect and stature. Not the dweeby , clumsy nerd.
When they kissed she instantly wiped her lips ....
Her timing is always perfect.
Love the laugh track. Love it!
Penny should really pay more attention to Leonard's interests and works. A lot of the problems in their relationship stem from Penny's lack of interest and understanding of what Leonard was doing.
AWWW I LOVE THIS SCENE
Maybe we're just a figment of someone's imagination.
You mean like the in the movie mr. Nobody? In my opinion tho I don't think our imagination has conscious cause it's not a living organ.
