    I took an 8 year old dodge durango black with water spots and etching. I took fast correcting cream with orange pad and got amazing results. I used a ceramic spray wax after which made the car look perfect for my buddy for lease return. Yes a 3 year lease was extended to 6 years LOL

    I’ve bought only the polish so far. I was looking for a product to remove swirl marks on my black Harley. Typically there’s not much correction needed just light scratches and swirls. After trying numerous swirl remover products my bike still looked as though I’ve sanded it with 2k grit. I rubbed some of your polish on by hand and it was exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’m sure if I used the 3rd step l, the wax, it would look even better. I will be investing into the other products. Great job

      How did it work? Do you like the longer throw or do you wish you got the G9?

    What liquid products were used in the two-step process?

    When doing paint correction, do you have to do a polish and compound? Or would a one step polish be okay if the paint is in pretty good condition and just looking for maybe some light correction and extra gloss?

    • @GriotsGarage
      @GriotsGarage  Před 4 lety

      A one step polish is often sufficient if the paint only has light to moderate defects.

    On some cars there's areas where you just cannot get a da. what are you doing in them areas? Used like a spray on wax Maybe?. I mean some of these areas I can barely get my hand into for instance the spare tire on the back of a CRV it's mounted to the back door.

    Hey. What pads and speed on the two step please? I bought the 3 and 6 inch da and love them. Need a faster correction like the two step for daily driver. Thanks.

      Hi Thomas, which products are you planning to use for your two step process? With most correction products we suggest working product onto the surface at speed 3 and moving up to 4-5 for the correction passes. Wax products typically use a little slower speed for application.

    I too bought a G9 recently. I used the Complete compound, polish and Best of Show wax and my car looks Great! What is the difference in those and the BOSS products? (fast correcting, correcting, and perfecting). Thank you.

    • @GriotsGarage
      @GriotsGarage  Před 4 lety +1

      Great question! The complete compound is designed to be applied by hand or machine, so the abrasives are a bit larger than the BOSS creams for effective hand application. That BOSS creams feature a smaller abrasive and added lubricity to handle the heat that comes with machine application.

    Awesome work ! Quick question can a one-step polishing process be achieved with correcting creme if the defects aren't bad if so, what is perfecting creme for? any abrasive?

    Hi Nick, I'm looking to move from hand buffing to machine buffing. On the one step you used the 6" Random Orbital and on the 2 step you used the Boss. Would the same results been achieved if you used the 6" Random on the 2 step instead of the Boss? Thanks!

    My world-class dentist in Lake Forest Park needs to learn how to pronounce "Griot's" correctly, maybe I should show him this YT channel :) ... IIRC he does occasional business with Dr. David Clark, DDS (inventor of the David Clark wedges which are dental tools and NOT golf clubs), who is just down the street from you folks.
