I had heard of Hatti chhap but, not their shoes. I’ll definitely try a pair when I’m there next time. Living in US has spoiled us, everything is cheap in US compared to any other country, I don’t understand how US businesses are able to deliver goods to its citizens in low cost. It is not only the imported goods, it is also the daily commodities like milk, eggs, gas etc where the factory workers gets paid at least $15/hr or higher with benefits.

The man has good voice..
Goldstar is one of the pioneer brand of Nepal.But because of social media and evolution of internet and easy access to learn culture and history of different countries esp Korean culture/wave which is taking world by storm- I came across the drama called Reply 1988 and saw Goldstar brand name in that drama which was based on 1988 era and out of curiosity I did my research and found that LG which is one of the largest company of SK was previously known as Goldstar and it has the same logo which Nepali brand has- therefore was sad to know the logo is copied from the original brand.
But on bright side they have given employment to many Nepali and shoes are indeed durable and affordable.

So could anyone explain how they’re getting away ripping off Logo designed by LG in the 1980s (1980-1995, LG formerly known as Lucky Goldstar, the Korean company we all know of). The thing that makes me laugh is that they’ve registered this as their company logo officially too 😆 Goldstar pulled one under the rugs for this one.
