Each day across Air Mobility Command, 110,000 Total Force Airmen support rapid global mobility. The mission, “Rapid Global Mobility...Right Effects, Right Place, Right Time!” captures the day to day work of air crews. Air Mobility Command Airmen can deploy personnel, equipment and supplies to a crisis anywhere in the world. Critical to the success of any airframe’s flying mission, air refuellers strengthen foreign alliances while increasing aircrafts' range mid-air. Aeromedical Evacuation has boosted the survival rate of wounded warriors to 97 percent. Contingency Response provides humanitarian aid to those who live in severe and dire conditions.
We wish to dedicate this work to flight engineers, loadmasters, airborne operations technicians, in-flight refueling technicians, and airborne cryptologic linguists; they are the backbone of Air Mobility Command and are invaluable assets to our United States Air Force.
