Interaction in the fruit stall was so genuine so authentic it is 100% Sri Lankan hospitality. He was saying in Sinhala that you gave him 500rupees in the morning also so he cant accept any tips this time.

The couple of friends who run the fruit stall seem to be really nice and good for the tourism industry. What a contrast to the horrible man who asked you to go away from his or someone else's stall just because you said the price of that food he tried to sell you was so expensive!

He wasn't nasty I have been to his shop, dude gave the price for the biggest portion available not the regular and that came off as expensive.
He wasn't trying to scam no one, he got hurt cuz he was the owner and emeka avoided him and asked the workers for the price.
This was all a miscommunication smh people are quick to judge and throw the blame not realising there is a huge language barrier and mistakes are bound to happen

If he was an honest man, he wouldn’t take offence to Emeka asking an employee for the cost. He’d calmly explain its a large portion order. To which Emeka could’ve asked for a smaller portion. Problem solved. Instead, he took offence and lost his temper because he got caught in a lie, has a big ego, and is a racist. HE was the judgmental one. Not Emeka. Not other commentators.
He didn’t like Emeka speaking to the guests in the table and was ready to usher him away immediately. When Emeka wanted to order food, he put in a fake smile and rushed him to order. He lost his temper and became aggressive and trying to usher him off like he’s a street dog, even touching him. Emeka is a class act, and kept his cool and walked off. That shop owner would never dare if it was white folks.
Stop being an apologist for horrible people. That makes you a horrible person too. Everyone deserves grace, but it’s a two way street like respect, and he gave neither. Grow up.

In your first dish sir. Which you ate sir. It is called local Sri lanka Rice and curry . In there are Red colour dish is beetroot curry.
How it's made ( peel off the beetroot skin and cut it beetroot into midden size then add slightly cut onions, garlic, curry leaf, curry powder and coconut milk finally boiled it )
Yellow dish is dhal curry ( common and famous dish in sri lanka, first washing dhal then add onions, garlic, curry leaf and coconut milk then boiled it again)

Hi, bro wish you could do a food review down Hills Street in Dehiwala. It's first suburb to the south of colombo. After Colombo 6. Not so far max may be around 15km from the city centre. Many public transport modes are available.
