Very informative video! I will say, be sure to check the contrast of the subtitle background with against text, especially if the background is more than 50% opaque. The main purpose of subtitles is accessibility, and people with low vision, color blindness etc need adequate contrast. I will be the first to always try to be on brand, but accessibility takes priority here.

hey! you can turn it on and off in AE :) It's just a layer, basically. so just turn off the (red) layer

Nah like I'm actually kind of upset how I pay $30 a month for After Effects, and Adobe can't even put together a basic feature that a bunch of free mobile softwares offer

completly! AE is really a dead horse and I regret every minute I (have to) use it and waste my brain resources to learn stupid work-arounds which do not carry any knowledge I can transfer to other softwares. and using AE became just work-arounds-plugins-for-everything-bullshit. adobe is reallly pathetic.
