I think it is important to spread funds in channels that are poised to do well in recession. I'm currently finishing my 6th duplex and retired from the rat race at 35 and what funded all these were strategic investing in stocks and consistent trading crypto. I'm exceptionally well positioned for what's to come because my portfolio is solid enough to withstand and outperform irrespective of the market trends.

The 10 rupee note he has framed is a new one, which came into the market after demonetization. Not sure what the period was when he lost all his money. It could be just a story he is trying to make and show how he went from rock-bottom to the top.

I am in the market since 1995 but till today not done trading even once. I invest and take delivery of shares and keep them for 5 to infinite years. I tried to take back principle amount with interest and keep the rest for next generation. This strategy is working very well and I am very very happy. I am a very small investor, retired Govt. employee investing small small amount.
