I've seen many of his films but my all time favorite is Angoor with Sanjeev Kumar ji in the lead, loved his role in the film, he used to do justice to whatever role he got, may his soul RIP

DIDI, I have seen lot of movies of YUNUS G & liked most ANGOOR with SANJEEV KUMAR. But surprisingly, I know this actor when he was playing HAWALDAR NAIK in INSPECTOR EAGLE on VIVIDH BHARTI RADIO every Sunday 1.45 pm. Vinod Sharma was inspector. He was brilliant actor with loads of talent. May his soul rest in peace. 11-02-2007... 🙏🙏
I always remember him as "Bade babu" from Amol Palekar's Golmaal movie. What an actor!!These type of actors are eternal.

Yunus Bhai: An artist with clear pronoucing in Urdu and other languages.
He used to live in my apartment in mumbai till his last days. We were quiet young at that time and his driver used to give us chocolates. I still remember his white fiat premier car. This episode brought back fond childhood memories.
He was in Mira Road, right?
Sad he is not with us great actor my childhood memories with him , God bless his soul 🌹

Marvellous actor. Loved him in Angoor(1982) as Mansoor & in Trishul (1978) as Bhandari. In Shaan (1980) too he was too good as the notorious Hotel Manager. In most movies he never disappointed mostly in his comic roles.

No one can forget his contribution as Panwala role in Avtaar . I was school going kid and noticed that many real panwalas used to come to Regal Theatre in CP to actually saw him performing along with Rajesh Khanna over the screen . His role was full of emotions specially when he handed over the ciggrate packet to Avtar Kishan ( RK) , and said Avtar Bhaiya aap bilkul nahin badle , itni shoharat pane ke baad . True tears came from his eyes . Heads off to him. Allah unko aapne kadmon main jagah banain rakhe //

I don't know about others, for me every time I see these yesteryear character actors I feel they are part of my extended family and an integral part of my growing up years. Salute to all these actors. Sadly they didnt get their due perhaps. And thank you so much Tabassumji (who is a legend in her own right) for bringing back a slice of our childhood.

It was somewhat late when i started noticing the contribution of Yunus Parvez G in Indian films. Any role he took big or small he brought life to it. Now i take special interest when ever I see him any movie.
