    The bottom line is that you have to keep practicing English every day to reach your fluency goal! I like this video! Because when I first learned this phrase, I subconsciously thought the meaning was the minimum requirement or breaking point something along those lines. Even though it may fit in some situations, it's critical to learn its exact meaning tho.

      Good catch! That meaning is possible, also, but it is a different (and less common) meaning and is used in business contexts. Here are some examples that I found in an online dictionary:
      How will these changes affect our bottom line?
      He says his bottom line is $120,000.
