Sucks to be Andy

What I find funny about Andy the Frog is that Andyâs last thought is wrong, there is a god he just decided that Andy should suffer, his name is Bo.
The moral of the frog story is that sometimes life fucks you really hard and there is absolutely no reason for it because life doesn't make sense whatsoever.
You gotta find the meaning of life yourself and if you have bad luck then make the best of it.
Its painfull because its true.
8:19 you can see the moment Chris gets inwardly furious over Bo slandering the fanny pack he's always wearing just below the camera's view.
Moral: The universe is chaotic and any meaning we perceive comes entirely from within. It can be beautiful, it can be terrible... it could be comedy.
I think if thereâs a moral to the Andy story itâs that he should have been happy with what he already had and stayed with his friends instead of chasing after something âperfectâ. Just like with âlower your expectationsâ, itâs about being satisfied with your lot in life rather than constantly yearning for some idealized âperfectâ life/wife/etc.
But Iâm also pretty sure itâs deliberately meant to not have a moral, sort of an anti-fable.
I reckon you'd really enjoy Tim minchin. You won't need to watch his shows in order since his songs don't link at all like bo's do but he was one of bo's inspirations and his work is amazing!
Seconded, Tim is incredibly clever
Yup, second this as well
Agreed
Fifthded, the heritage orchestra special was amazing

I am a simple human. I see the notification. I click.
Bo is so meta with his comedy, he constantly seems obfuscated by his own absurd comedy, because is more what it was expected of him as a 22/23 year old than what he really wants to portray and communicate. I think he is incredibly smart, he's always been, even as a young entertainer, and I also believe he has the soul of a philosopher but uses self deprecation way too often as to be taken seriously as such. His existentialism is contagious and his word choices, as a 22 year old are very impressive, even with the silly jokes.
I can't wait for your takes on the last part of the show! Really I'm excited. Great video Chris, thank you.
About the toll booths, what you should be asking is "why do they exist?" It is literally highway robbery.
I'm ur father and I love ur CZcams channel
thanks dad
I think the reason that toll booths arenât automated is that, if they were, theyâd be prone to technical malfunctions, and if that happened and no one was working there, traffic would have to be stopped until a technician got there. And if they did keep someone working there to maintain it, theyâd already be there anyways, so the automated system would be pointless and just an extra cost to maintain.
Chris there is no moral to the story, we are humans Andy is a frog lol
OMGGG YOU ACTUALLY ARE REACTING TO ANDY THE FROG. YOUR THE BEST
toll booths donât exists in massachusetts, everyone has an ezpass and u just drive through and theres monitors at different areas of the highway u dont even notice them :)
the moral of the story in my opinion is that we spend our entire life searching for something but in the end it doesn't matter and we can just die without founding it
Woohoo more Chris, reminding me of Idubs with the outfit, I like it.
Ah man, I can't unsee that now
Welcome back! Canât wait for the rest of the show, thereâs some good shit coming.
Moral: chasing perfection and success, there will be dangerous obsticles in your way and this isnt the movies, its unlikely you will evver reach your goal fully.
Enjoy the journey of life not be miserable until you reach a specific destination
All the toll booths Iâve been through in Australia and now online.
Although Iâm glad Bo has moved to more introspective and mature stuff, I still like these bits even if theyâre just silly and sometimes more for shock value.
good to see ya again
The like/dislike ratio really shows you are doing something right.
Massachusetts has had automatic tollbooths for a while now. Here in NY we're getting them too. It scans your Ezpass or license plate and they just send you the bill. Soooooo much easier.
Nice hat xD
Peanut butter tribadism!
okay i didnt know what tribadism was during the video, but now after googling, oooohhhhhhhh okay
@@ChrisReactsToThings lol I had to look it up the first time I heard the song, too.
We donât have tolls in germany but when i went to poland I had the exact same thought about the people sitting in those little booths. They took card and cash though
good chris video to uplift a bad day. cheers dude. enjoyed.
Cheers! Hope tomorrow is better
like ur hat
ty lulu
Missed you!
Yea he loved shock value.
Ain't nothing in that book.
The moral was dont follow your dreams or leave your comfort zones.
Toll booths aren't automated because thered be too many complaints. But they should be able to take cards, you're right there. My boss at RenFairre used a card reader.
Unfair, many lesbians love fanny packs (reminder that im a queer woman and not punching down im jostling the shoulder of my peer).
Andy was witness to an atrocity and later subject to an unrelated atrocity. Circumstances destroyed him and his life experiences did not prepare him to cope such that when facing death he rejected everything he'd ever believed.
Classic Roger
UH OMG YOUR SERIOUSKY MY FAVORITE REACTOR
Canât wait for you to watch âRepeat Stuffâ lol.
There was a kid that read Andy and the Frog in class for a grade and it has 1.2M views on YT lol "Performing a skit from Bo Burnham's what!" if you want to see it
The moral of Andy's story is that the frog should have stayed in his pond, because he is a frog and going outside of your safe pond isn't a good thing for frogs, and it's not applicable to humans because humans aren't frogs.
You look a lot like Mikkel FĂžlsgaard, who plays Mark Hess in the danish Netflix series The Chestnut Man
Toll booths in Kansas are automated and take credit cards and have no people in them
Progress!
Ok, so how did you get through the toll booth without any money?
AMOGUS!?
"Nice little way to break up the awkwardness."
And then Bo ruined the man's whole career.
Itâs official. Chris is team fanny pack.
woah woah woah i didnt say that
I think the moral is pretty straightforward as he said, having animals in your "moral stories" is pretty stupid as why would animal morals apply to humans, and Andy the frog was a more realistic animal story, as opposed to the kids stories we have today.
Gimme ur pc XD
When you watch repetitive stuff witch is the next song, please react to the official clip one too
I think the moral is that life is random, and there is no god. Or, it doesn't apply to us because we're humans.
Can you react to art is dead by bo?
