I'm Puerto Rican, but I still can't over the fact that Natasha Joubert from South Africa didn't make it to the top 21, especially after her evening gown performance at prelims!
I am Puertorrican too and I am still shocked that Natasha wasn't one of the top 21 semifinalists in this 2020 edition. Also if you notice there was no African delegate in the semifinals since the 2013 or 2014 edition.
@@TheBest-rv9qi I loved her, she was Estefania's roomate and she was so sweet with her! My Sister and I were impressed when she came on the evening gown at prelims. I never saw her winning but she deserved a 2nd or 3rd runner-up position
@@justyncolon7798 I always thought she was going to be one of the top 5 finalists in Miss Universe 2020 but I expected Miss Cameroon to be in the semifinals and she wasn't there too. Maybe the organzation wasn't looking for an African and that's why there was no African delegate in the semifinals. Another delegate that I expected to see in the top 5 and was not there is Bianca Tirsin from Romania.
I'm from Indonesia and I didn't expect more to my wonderful country Indonesia to get a high placement or achievement in this beauty contest even though we always send our best finalist and well prepared for it as usually but as we had known why many winners is always come from the countries that have already won before so I think this beauty pageant didn't want to give the another countries a chance to get this title. So, I have more respect for the another beauty contests that always be fair to choose a worthy winner even if it's a minor beauty pageant. Thank you
As long as Puteri Indonesia Foundation still keeping their mindset that Miss Universe is just a bonus for the titleholder, then don’t expect a higher placement for our country. Like honestly until right now I still don’t feel their hunger to get the first crown rather just to be "save" in the first cut of the placement.
