This is the Arrows Trekker. A 1200mm RTF (Plug n Play version is available) trainer plane for beginners. It comes with everything you need in the box. It went together quickly and flew very well. The police gave us a surprise visit while we were filming, and they were even impressed!

I’m intrigued by planes. The only plane I’ve ever flown was an old Cox nitro plane that had a string to run the rudders . That was 35 years ago
They are called control line airplanes. I used to fly them and ones made by Testors back in the mid 70's.

@@felixsrcworld5112 there are multiple model plane hobbies. Control line planes are still used. It is not an evolution to rc. It is a different way to play

I was a police officer and dropped by an mall RC display while in uniform. One guy operating an RC a simulator saw me and thought he’d have some fun and handed me the transmitter. He was some sort of surprised when I took control of the craft and was able to fly it without a problem. I have flown RC since I was 18. Lol. We had a good laugh. Still flying RC in my retirement and I love your videos.
You two are the perfect ambassadors to the hobby.

Reminds me of the Gamma 370 I learned to fly on. Although the 370 was a taildragger, it was a docile plane and I really enjoyed flying mine.
Harry Keel I have been flying the Gamma V2 trainer (Throttle, elevator and rudder only) for the past three and a half years as a hand launch and belly land platform and yes I agree it is a easy and relaxing airplane to fly! It was stuck about 50 feet in a tree from early March until mid April when a local tree trimmer I have known for many years retrieved it from it's pearch in the tree and after a epoxy repair to the broken motor mount the Gamma is flying like new once again thanks to the great skills of a local carpenter/contractor. A good ending story for me. 😉🛩
Another good one by Arrows RC. This is a good price point for an RTF beginner plane, hopefully will bring some more people into the hobby!

Nate, I'm a retired biomedical engineer. I love your videos! You can make the beep 10x quieter by opening up the case and placing a piece of tape over the little hole on the 'beeper', which is sometimes called a 'sonalert' unit. It's a sort of tiny piezo-electric speaker. Thank you guys! Be well :)

Yeah, looks like a decent plane at a decent price and should work well for a beginner especially considering the Vector gyro system.
Nate, I think Arrows might be confusing things for the beginner by referring to flight leveling as stabilization - as you did in this video. They also refer to their stability mode as the recovery mode. They call what I think most of us consider stability mode as Optimized mode. [I hope there are no beginners reading this post. 😊]
Love my Bigfoot. First 1 I bought lost contact Mid flight. Wasn't a good ending with no control. Got ahold of arrows and they put me in contact with hobby zone. Had an exceptional conversation with the owner. Not going to.spew all the details but hobby zones customer service is top notch for sure
Looks like fun, I still fly my first foam Trainer King tricycle gear plane. They are so fun with great ground handling. This one looks very nice with decent power too.

If they have an FPV canopy it would be a better Aeroscout alternative. I don't like the stock battery space in the Aeroscout.

Nate, I’ve never flown rc plane and would like to enter this hobby. I’m looking at this v/s the aeroscout. Which one would you recommend? Which is the more forgiving? Also, can you do a comparison video between the two?
Great video as always. What is the diameter of the wheels please. I am trying to decide between the aeroscout, top RC hobby Thunder and now this one got added to the list. Decisions decisions. I am trying to find a new bird that can operate well off a grass field. Both of you do a great job and I watch all of your videos.

It is amazing how much this hobby has gone up in cost!!! Yes I sound like an old guy but damn. This hobby is becoming too expensive.
Jack, I hear you. But we are lucky it hasn’t doubled in price like a lot of things. In some ways it has gotten cheaper though. You know the airplane I referenced in this video, the Sensei!? It was almost identical to this, with similar flight stabilization technology made by Flyzone. And if I’m not mistaken, I believe it was over $300 for a RTF set up, if not closer to $400. In some ways it has gotten more expensive, but in others surprisingly cheaper 👍😁😎⚓️
