i am a jazz musician and a composer. but these ar em my roots. i tell people all over the world about this music. love it. it is like miles davis, mozart or nirvana...timeless fantastic music. one of it's kind!!!!!!!!!! HAIL!

These guys have talent they just need to talk about God and confess Jesus and obey the New testament and learn from the old testament. Also they should change the vocals from screeching and growls to at most shouting but that's my personal opinion! God loves everyone! ❤🤗😁

emperor has so far been a messy amalgam of moody keyboards, indecipherable screaming, and insistent but static rhythms. and its awesome.
This song will always have a special place in my heart. My all-time favorite from this album (and favorite Emperor song, followed very closely by "The Loss And Curse Of Reverence").
This is literally as perfect of a song as it gets. I just heard this and my jaw litterly dropped.

I listened to this early 1994, demo version. In Norway. It might have started before this song, but it felt like I had found gold. Just a unique and extreme culture that I am so happy I was a part of. It felt like a drug then, and one wanted to escape the ordinary world as often as possible. Samoth was the idol back then.
Stuck in quarantine listening to this and so my downstairs neighbors are too.

This is one of my favorite songs by the almighty Emperor actually this is one of the first Norwegian Black Metal songs Emperor are one of my favorite bands this whole album is definitely a Masterpiece love old school black metal

I like Ishahn's guitar work but this is very well done. I'm part Norwegian on my Grandma's side as well and proud of it. Anyway Ishahn and Samoth do a great job on this album's guitar work. The vocals are abrasive but not too unpleasant. Overall this is good music (if you're into Extreme Metal, Black Metal, or that kinda thing).

@@heretic5116 Yeah with Emperor you don't get shitty production quality. I'm pretty sure these guys were really unique in the scene at the time because their sound was much different from what other bands were doing at the time e.g. using symphonic elements and having better production value.
That’s on purpose, it’s called black metal toaster quality. I call it that because it sounds like it was recorded with a toaster. Personally I like it but it’s not for everyone.
