I'm really liking your interviews with designers of historical games that go off the beaten path. Thank you! Chicago '68 is particularly interesting me as I was a high schooler at that time, back when I was playing my first wargame (AH Stalingrad). I often don't listen to game designers, but this guy was interesting and got me excited for it.

Thanks! I think this will be a fascinating topic to model in a game. I'm very interested to see how this one moves forward. :)

These events occurred just as I was finishing the final year in high school; ready to graduate in June of 1968. So they have many memories for me.
This game looks really good and interesting but the title should be more like:
    Chaos 1968
There were huge race and war riots everywhere then; especially in Washington DC. The President called in US Army troops to help quell it. They housed the troops in local department stores. Leaders of the protests in DC tried to go out in the suburbs and stir up local black residents; who turned them down completely.
In the early 1970s, when the lady in your life decided you were not up to her standard that became a difficult time for a man. The Vietnam War was still going on and so was the draft of soldiers
Perhaps the DEV could do DLCs like:
    Swamp 68
    Beverly 68
That was a great time to go some where else.
    Regards

I follow three boardgame sites because they are rather good. I sent an appreciative email yesterday to a host of one. I should have included you. You do good work and have cost me a small fortune. My wife, who is delightful, often asks why we can't go on holiday and I reply that Zilla Blitz has lured me with boardgames. I love her very much but she is annoyingly less fond of you. Being a good woman she blames you entirely as indeed do I. A man needs board games. Holidays are at best optional. Wives are a fortunate occurrence and sent by god to trouble us. Thanks for what you do. It is appreciated.

Ha, this might be the funniest comment. Sorry about your wife's ire, but yep, she can direct it right at me. :) I'm glad you're enjoying the games, though. So much goodness to play out there. :)

@@ZillaBlitz it is a ridiculous hobby Zilla but who would not fall in love with it. I have adventured as I am sure you have. We are gentlemen, I know you are, and likely to be consigned to hell. I send you my best wishes. I cannot say the same of my wife who unfortunately realised that I squandered my money on games that you have recommended She is a fine woman. Irish I believe and she says you've not been talking to that hloody Zilla again. I lie dear chap because I would not want to lose either. I think I've got away with it. Helen Catherine Bernadette. Pretty much got away with it so far. Wish me luck compadre. I would hesitate to advise you but marrying an Irish woman is a little bit like charging with the Light Brigade at Balaclava but slightly more dangerous.
