これが聞きたくなった
酒は飲み過ぎ無いようにな
アンデイ－・ウィリアムスの歌声にも、当時中学生の私は魅せられました。深い意味などわかりもせず、ひたすら憧れまして、現在５０株のバラの手入れに追われつつ、ウィスキー大好きな、ある意味「酒とバラの日々」を過ごすことになりました。
私はこの映画は、曲よりも後に知りました。曲は沢山の歌手がカバーしてましたので、特に このジュリーのカバーが大好きでした。それにしても50株のバラは壮観ですね。私の大好きな[百万本のバラ]という曲がありますが、それを眺めながらウィスキー。。。 いいですね～
ロマンチックな題名と ステキな歌声にただただうっとりしてしまいます。歌詞を覚えて歌ってみると歌いやすくて ほんとに好きな曲です。見る機会があれば映画もみてみたいです。

I saw the movie first time around and never forgot the beautiful Mancini/Mercer music. Quite possibly the most haunting lyrics ever, especially when sung by Julie London - someone else it would be hard to forget ...
The movie was a miserable story but this song that Julie London sang fascinated a lot of people. It is a really wonderful song!
@@lemikeyles I love the song so much that I never want to see the movie. I like the wistful versions by Williams, Darin and London which I imagine are in keeping with the movie (as opposed to Sinatra's jaunty version) but I prefer my own wistful memories of lost love to having these replaced by what I've heard is a totally depressing movie.
@@bobsaccamanno3970 it certainly, the film story wasn't very well received because it was about a dark and tragic alcoholic. However, many people appreciate the theme song. And many musicians have covered it. of course, I loved this Julie London cover.

I always thought Julie was such an underrated singer; her voice was distinctive, & she never tried to be who she wasn't. I LOVED her voice, & with the right arrangers, she was magnificent. This is her at her very best. Wolfsky9

シリアスな作品のためか、ジャック・レモンの吹き替えは、いつもの愛川欽也さんでは無く、穂積隆信さんでした。
この作品の、オクラ入りとなった故・淀川長治さんの解説映像が存在するのか気になります。
スポンサーあってのTV業界ですからね。
これだけ歌は浸透したのに、この映画を知らない人は多いですね。

Loved your video....the movie from which the song is derived is one of the most heart-breaking movies ever made. While working on the set, actor Jack Lemmon actually was struggling with a drinking problem in his life. The making of it helped him conquer his drinking habit. Afterward, Alcoholics Anonymous made it a requirement for all members to watch the movie for many years. I'm not sure if they still do. For me, the saddest part is that the movie is an absolute portrayal of my own parent's life and struggle with alcohol during the time period this movie was made (1962). My dad managed to conquer alcohol and leave it; however, my mom was never able to do so. She died much too young. I miss her very much. The song is so hauntingly beautiful, I think of her and my dad every time I hear it. Again, a wonderful video. Thank you.
I was first in, I touch this music. And I didn't think it was the theme song of such a tragic story. After that, I actually watched this movie.There, depicts a life collapse due to the tragic alcoholism you wrote. I haven't , dare Insert into this video from the 'miserable scenes' in this film footage. Because I wanted to leave it to the imagination of each person who watched the movie. if it was good or bad, I don't know it. Thank you very much.

This film feeling terribly the gap before, and after watching the movie. Maybe it's the gap between the story and 'the starring Jack Lemmon or the theme song'. But I really like this theme song. Also Jack Lemon are my favorites.

They should have used this rendition for the movie....it has a warmer feeling than than the choral version used in the soundtrack. Julie was fabulous!!

It is feeling like gently wrapping it with a unique fabulous voice.
I should add, I saw this youtube clip before I ever saw the movie and thought Julie's version was used. I thought the choral version was (although good quality singing) a big letdown.
I love Henry Mancini's original soundtrack. I do not dislike it. I used the song of Julie because just I thought that to this clip I edited would be best much fit.
