It isn’t actually a new meaning, just the already-existing animation jump cancel. It works because to murder Dehya’s compatibility with Xingqiu etc., Dehya’s Q is a canned animation instead of a stance change.
Literally, everything about this character from her character design to her animations to her voice lines screams power. Was hyped about her from when she was teased in the sumeru trailer and now she has the damage of a duck, almost as if her talents don't carry the weight as expected. Would still play her when i lose a 50/50 to her purely because i like the character itself.
if u ignore floor 12... shes absolutely FINE.. her bad kits literlaly doesnt matter on the overworld where i spend 99% of my time on genshin ... i like running her with ayato and nahida.... basically kill everything with her burst during ayatos burst OR using her E with ayatos E attacks basicallly deyha is main dps DURING ults ayato is main DPS on burst cooldowns during the both E's in short... outside of floor 12... none of the complains matter 😂 ull still stomp everything on the overworld and floors 9-11... i pulled her cause i wanted a NEW character to play with on the overworld.. i dont need a new main meta carry floor 12 unit.. aka i just dont use deyha of floor 12. . easy.. dont get me wrong.. its trash and a backstab by hoyoverse what they did with her scaling and her ult not procing xingqu and yelans ults and etc.. thats TRASH butt if ur not living on floor 12.. shes still making the overworld a push over with any team.. even qiqi steam rolls the overworld.. kuki as ur main dps on the overworld in fun team comps too... === conclusion: it is what it is... if u get/got her.. u might as well have fun with her where her kit doesnt make u sad. aka on the overworld lol

Actually i created one more team. Its Dehya - Yelan - Raiden - Benett. This is exploration team, where yelan and raiden can kill anything and dehya is here to look pretty + deal emotional damage by punching poor defensless hilichurls
3:32 PSA: This does NOT let her take less damage while using her burst since it only reduces the DOT from her skill and she does not have her skill during her burst

This guide really helped me. First i was kind of lost on what to do with her but now that i have her c6 and i followed your guide i can finally kill timmie's birds with dehya in one burst rotation
For anyone wondering why jumping cancels her burst, its basically bc her burst is a continous animation. What does that mean? Because zyox mentioned in the video that she will punch even when you’re not pressing anything, it’s an automatic animation. It’s essentially similar in a way to jump cancelling for hu tao where when you are continuously charged attacked, you jump to stop the charging animation and basically jump to stop all combat animations. Same goes for dehya

Maybe I sounded exalted but I'm just sadge at them bc I saw ppl saying "just don't jump" (I'm still thinking that if they wanted to make a continuous animation burst it doesn't makes sense if the "continuous" part stops right after you get frozen, but we're free to copium as much as we want).
Personally I wasn't looking forward for Dehya however I am still sad how things turned out with her. It also scares me that any teased charachter even if they played a big part in the story can be just tossed into standard and made barely usable. I honestly feel sorry for everyone who's been saving for her for months. Also harrassing tcs like Zy0x and Zajeff for saying that she isn't a good option is honestly pathetic and is absolutely not what they deserve for their hard work to help other players.
And the thing that makes it even more worse is: Mona, a standard banner character, is a really good support. Jean aswell. Dehya now is probably the worst 5 star in the game atm, being on standard or not doesn't really matter. They could've made her a good standard character but no, hoyo really just messed her up really bad. Kinda sad actually, and I have to agree with your comment
@@sheilaa2828 it's even sadder that there are peeps who are actually defending Hoyo for doing this Envi tweeted that Hoyo stated the jump cancel isn't a bug, and many people comment "it's not that big of a problem"
A few things i wanna mention that you missed out on in the guide: -while jumping completely cancels her burst, it should be noted that if you dash+jump it will instead skip you to the final kick of your burst rather than canceling the entire animation. This can be good for not punching for too long if its not necessary, still being able to get out a final bigger hit of dmg before having to dodge an attack that might be deadly, or to get the vaped kick faster if ur playing hypercarry dehya as her final kick has its own ICD so even if your punch just vaped the kick still will right after -for burgeon teams if you still reeeally want to use her there, the new event claymore is actually the best EM claymore now as its passive proc gives more total EM than bloodtainted greatsword -her c4 if you land all your punches effectively makes her 70 cost bursts a 55 cost as it restores 15 energy(9 punches+final kick giving 1.5 energy each) However you didnt mention that the energy restoration also counts torwards the extra punches at c6. Witu c6 you can get usually 15 or 16 punches+final kick so your 70 cost burst is now effectively about 45 cost as you can restore up to 24 or 25ish energy from her burst. -finally for some more interesting team comps: ayato, nilou, and ganyu can technically work well with her if you want to make her a dps as their bursts(and nilous e ring rather than her burst) combined with an anemo characters infusion gives enough hydro or cryo to properly vape/melt all her punches. It can be a bit too tight with mona at c5 and under and monas burst just straight up doesnt last long enough at c6 Dehya. You also get some more overall dmg on the team from ayato or ganyu contributing both nice off field dmg as well as a few attacks while you wait for stuff to come off cooldown.
Note her E will only proc on one enemy in the field. There is a shared cooldown for all enemies. So if you have 2 enemies in the field on opposite sides, you can only damage one of them per 2.5s. Honestly the least we should’ve got was that for quadratic scaling but that’s the way it goes I guess
The secret about dehya is that shes made for end game players with tons of overpowered characters like eula and yelan, because she makes the game actually challenging again 😉
I don't understand how some people are so adamant that Dehya was not designed to be a DPS When every sign is pointing to that being what she was designed to do. Signature weapon DPS focused, Constellations DPS focused, her ENTIRE BURST DPS focused. The only supportive utility she has is in her skill and even that isn't very effective when so many other characters are better at it while offering more to the team. Let's say she was a support, then HYV made a bad one because her kit, cons, and weapon aren't geared that way. What they made was a bad DPS but decided not to directly advertise her that way so they could have the benefit of the doubt on why her damage is so bad. But, of course, pull whoever you want. and if you don't care about neta, this wouldn't' matter to you
I've been using her with Barbara fischel and shenhe and I've been loving this team. Just constantly procing overload, vaporize, superconduct, electrocute and melt all at once
Still rather baffling how HoYo has treated Dehya. Then again, it wouldn't be HoYo if they didn't do something like this once in a while. 😭 Either way, bless you and all others for making guides on Dehya so those who do have her can at least attempt to make the best out of her.
@@babyjiren9676 Is there a reason to actually assume this or is it just because they're Chinese? Because it's not like there is a precedent for that in Genshin. Dehya and Xinyan are bad. Kaeya and Cyno are good. Candace I feel like is too niche but could have a use in the future since she's the only character currently with a hydro infusion. It just feels way too reactionary to call it racism but I guess that's just par for the course for the Genshin community at this point.

Overburn with Raiden and Nahida works really well, too. If you have full EM Raiden, Dehya and Nahida can comfortably keep up the burning aura so that Raiden will constantly proc overloads. Your fourth character is completely flex, but a vv shredder for Pyro damage is nice. Also, you can technically put Nahida on Crimson Witch in this team, because burning scales with the EM of the trigger, so Nahida’s damage is much higher this way. Another team is a burn melt Rosaria. Same setup, with Nahida and Dehya, and then Rosaria can melt her entire kit, afk. You could use vv shred for cryo, or use Bennett. It’s really fun to watch enemies burn, then melt, without having to do much.
@@CaptainRx-ss3rt nah. Nahida, Alhaitham, Nilou, wanderer... All of them (and many others) cannot be swapped for xiangling in a team. Sure, there are teams that use xiangling in which she will perform better than these characters, but that's not the same thing.
I'm living on that Future Impact Hopium. We were there, 3000 years ago when Zhongli was also extremely scuffed on release. That being said, thank you for this guide. Honestly as bad as she seems, I'm actually having quite a blast with her. I don't care much for meta since it is a single player game with a few co-op aspects. The event Multiplayer stuff isn't even pvp.
Just got this queen today from standard banner by accident. It's a damn shame she isn't stronger because she is easily the coolest looking character in the game in my opinion
Watching this video has made me realise how bad i have judged a character. It is my fault, as i shouldn't have listened to the "Meta" fanbase about how bad a character performs. They were wrong, and i was wrong to believe them. This has made me realise that perhaps... Perhaps i treated Xinyan a bit too harshly, I'm sorry xinyan, you aren't that bad now that i look at dehya.
I know we all agree that dehya is suboptimal at best. The main question that lingers is why is she this weak? What possible benefit does this bring for mihoyo logically speaking?
So, I've tried to broaden my perspecive by speaking to people playing to other gacha games. Turns out having paid characters that are weak is not rare. I think most people, myself included, are so shocked because Genshin is our first and only gacha. But the thing is, gacha games release a ton of characters at a very intense rythm. So they can't and won't make all of them good or even just sidegrades, they will mess up some of them, unintentionally (incompetence), or intentionally (marketing manipulation, because if everything is good, people get less engaged in the long run...they create their own highs and lows). At this point, it doesn't really matter to know if it's intentional or not, because it won't change anything. It doesn't really change anything in games where the meta actually matters, so imagine in Genshin Impact, which is kinda just a visual novel in full 3D. So why is Dehya so weak despite the fact that she was a long-awaited and beloved character? It's because of how gacha games are developped. For us that are not in the know about said developpment process, it's just a coin toss. We can assume that Archons will be good, we can assume that 5 stars will be at least decent, but truth is, there is no guarantee, and from our perspective, it's just unpredictable.
You can say because she's going to the standard, but some of them are good like Diluc, Mona, and tighnari. In Dehya's case it seems they tried something new but fail and decided to release her anyway
The thing is, you're looking for logic where there isn't any to be found. They just made a dogshit character to dilute the roster like many other gachas do from time to time to resource trap players. It's not rocket science. Does it suck? Absolutely, but it's a completely normal thing that happens in gacha games.

I still hope that MiHoyo will at least tweak the damage numbers at bit if enough people keep complaining. My dream would obviously be something more of a rework to a sort of pyro albedo, so she can take that niche of a not burst reliant off field pyro unit, but yeah...
I know there's a lot of negativity surrounding her and I've seen way too many comments here joking about her meta viability but I do want to thank you for making a serious guide about her. My reasons for pulling any character are mainly design and story with no regard for meta. I am a ningguang and Lisa user lol. So I pull a character and then look for ways to try and use them. Almost any other guide basically goes "don't pull for her" which is completely useless for me. So this guide was perfect for me.
The problem is that everyone should be usable. She is barely playable and you shouldn't be pulling for her because it send the message that hoyo will do this shit again.

@@julianrobertson1869 she works just fine how? 1) Needs to be hyperinvested to do less damage than free 4* cook from Liyue (xiangling) 2) her resistance to interruption doesn't last for her whole skill duration 3) If you get frozen in her burst prepare to wait out the full rotation because it will end immediately if you jump 4) she cannot heal your other characters nor is she a shield for them, they still take damage, so what stuff is she great at exactly? Keep in mind I'm a double crowned Dehya main and I have her weapon at 90. Let's not lie to ourselves, she is underwhelming but at the end of the day pull for whoever catches your fancy

Jump cancelling is probably won't get fixed since her burst is an animation. But I hope they fix her targeting priority or let us have full control of it. Other than that, buff her kit. At least 70% damage mitigation, 100% uptime, lower burst cost and better damage.

@@aliceigins6298 WG, Emblem with ER sands for main DPS with mona/kazuha/bennet (you can replace kazuha with sucrose, having some EM on dehya is good in this team),probably her strongest MAIN DPS team, but her personal dmg sucks so this team might not be enough even with high investment on some abyss floors. Same build but with less ER and no EM in Xiangling/Kazuha/Bennet team, pretty strong team but lets be real Dehya doesn't do most of the dmg here, its more just that the rest of the team is so strong they can carry her. WG, TOM with atk% sands in Ganyu/Nahida/Bennet, you don't burst with Dehya in that team, just use her as a skill bot to trigger burn on enemies to melt with Ganyu.
I hate the fact that when you jump during her burst, it cancels her burst. Who thought of this in Hoyoverse, I hope your charger only works in a certain angle

I didn't even need her to be the best character in terms of DPS or support. I just needed her to be decently functional. The fact that she's barely useable for anything in the game besides my looking pretty in my Teapot, breaks my heart. But regardless of all the weirdness and straight-up frustrating game design surrounding her kit, thank you for making this guide. I'm sure it took a lot of testing and disappointment on your end.
I don't believe anyone in several videos I've watched has mentioned it so, Dehya can dash during her burst and it slows/pauses her attacking so you can hit enemies from farther away or target/wait for certain elemental reactions. It makes it feel like you have control over her burst and feels way less clunky in my opinion. I run her with Nahida, Kuki, and Candace.
My story about me getting dehya: First of all, I had just gotten my Wi-Fi back after I had moved my house, I played on a ps4 and I waited for the 3.5 update to load, I wanted yelan so badly but unfortunately her banner ended when I was moving to a new house. I then logged into my genshin account and I remembered I was close to pity but I didn’t know the exact number. I got all of my freemogems and went on the wishing screen. I really wanted to have cyno and even did a ritual for him to come home, I was not guaranteed because I got nahida then raiden right after. Little did I know I was in for the SHOCK of my god damn life. I done a ten pull and it was a five star. I was MANIFESTING the luck to get cyno, I thought I would get him, but then, I saw her, the dreaded red cat woman, appear on my screen. I was devestated, I didn’t know what I should react with. Was I happy or sad? I couldn’t answer my own question. I told my sister who I shared the account with, and she had the same reaction as me, i thought it couldn’t be even more bad than that, but I was wrong, SO WRONG. My older sister saw dehya’s design, dehyas 🫣bouncing like gelatinous balloons in the wind. She then said that I was NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY HER. She said if my mother were to see dehyas honkers, she would be devastated seeing me watch an animated pixel woman’s honkers on the tv. I sat there in despair, in shock. I was then diagnosed with depression the very same day. I had ruined my genshin account. Thank you for listening to my English gcse! 😊

Deyha has provided me with something far more meaningful than damage, to ENJOY THE GAME for what it is again. I found myself this last year just coasting till the new character came out. Building them, dailys, freemogem farming. Everything felt like a chore. I've relearned to bask in my environments, engross myself into the story. Immerse myself into the world. Plus she looks dope with the Bell claymore.

Her kit is not bad. It's unique and actually *could've* been potentially good! But Hoyoverse seriously did her so bad. Her burst being unable to activate Xingqiu, Yelan, and Beidou bursts really hurts her a lot. Her skill has very slow application that you cannot do Burgeon with her constantly which could've been one niche for her to fulfill and actually become usable. Another thing, if her burst could actually refresh the duration of her skill similar to Kokomi's jellyfish, she could've been a least a bit better. But no! Hoyoverse doesn't give a f about her. They're sure that they're not going to make sales this patch since people used their credit cards on the previous Hu Tao/Yelan banner. Wishing that Dehya mains get their main buffed and fixed but knowing how they put effort into changing Raiden's skill wordings to justify her not working with Beidou, I doubt they'll touch Dehya's kit. Especially not when they're literally putting her on standard.

@@Saren_5 I understand they don't want a repeat of the "problem children" from the early days with Bennett, Xiangling, XQ and Sucrose (to a slightly lesser extent Fischl and Diona too) but making 4* characters be exclusive niche support for a couple of 5* characters is quite the overcorrection with Mika looking to be designed to be Eula (and possibly Yoimiya) support due how hard physical damage has fallen out of favour. Regardless it's quite the ingenious marketing tactic to force dolphin/low spender player's to decide if it's worth that pulling for a C6 4* to buff a limited time banner C0/C1 5* (many end up taking the bait) while still getting a steady stream of money from the whales lol!
@@MozeFan they probably looked into how Raiden's first banner sells really well and how people often showcase her with Sara (on C6 ofc) and deal 6 digit dmg only on her initial hit. Because of that they maybe wanted to do it again with future characters.
Still can't believe they ended up doing her this dirty. She was such an iconic character one could look foreward to during early sumeru storyline. And now this... it's sad that a new 5* char can be compared to the bottom barrel of 4*s cause next to nothing of her kit has a good synergy with anything out there thus far. Gotta pity all the work that went into creating a character just to let her turn out this way in the end.

Ganyu works really well for Melt Dehya. The problem with her melt teams is that Kazuha’s ult need to be infused with cryo,otherwise,your cryo application wont last the whole rotation
Calling it now, they're going to make a water support in fontane that procs on bursts. To me it just looks like a lot of characters are being built on kits that require another specific character.
Nice, look what a full team can do. Sometimes, i often forget that a party has 3 other character slots, hahahaha, but dehya really utilizes her teammates, which is after all the reason we have parties of 4, so i appreciate dehya for reminding me of this
I just realized, if you use sacrificial greatsword, you’d be able to get 3 stacks of crimson witch because you can activate her skill twice. So you know… copium.
I literally got C1 dehya on accident. I first got her on neuvilette's banner and lost the 50/50, and I got C1 on normal banner using single pulls. I DONT EVEN LIKE DEHYAAAAA💀💀💀

For anyone wondering why jumping cancels her burst, its basically bc her burst is a continous animation. What does that mean? Because zyox mentioned in the video that she will punch even when you’re not pressing anything, it’s an automatic animation. It’s essentially similar in a way to jump cancelling for hu tao where when you are continuously charged attacked, you jump to stop the charging animation and basically jump to stop all combat animations. Same goes for dehya

Personally I wasn't looking forward for Dehya however I am still sad how things turned out with her. It also scares me that any teased charachter even if they played a big part in the story can be just tossed into standard and made barely usable. I honestly feel sorry for everyone who's been saving for her for months.

A few things i wanna mention that you missed out on in the guide:
-while jumping completely cancels her burst, it should be noted that if you dash+jump it will instead skip you to the final kick of your burst rather than canceling the entire animation. This can be good for not punching for too long if its not necessary, still being able to get out a final bigger hit of dmg before having to dodge an attack that might be deadly, or to get the vaped kick faster if ur playing hypercarry dehya as her final kick has its own ICD so even if your punch just vaped the kick still will right after
-for burgeon teams if you still reeeally want to use her there, the new event claymore is actually the best EM claymore now as its passive proc gives more total EM than bloodtainted greatsword
-her c4 if you land all your punches effectively makes her 70 cost bursts a 55 cost as it restores 15 energy(9 punches+final kick giving 1.5 energy each) However you didnt mention that the energy restoration also counts torwards the extra punches at c6. Witu c6 you can get usually 15 or 16 punches+final kick so your 70 cost burst is now effectively about 45 cost as you can restore up to 24 or 25ish energy from her burst.
-finally for some more interesting team comps: ayato, nilou, and ganyu can technically work well with her if you want to make her a dps as their bursts(and nilous e ring rather than her burst) combined with an anemo characters infusion gives enough hydro or cryo to properly vape/melt all her punches. It can be a bit too tight with mona at c5 and under and monas burst just straight up doesnt last long enough at c6 Dehya. You also get some more overall dmg on the team from ayato or ganyu contributing both nice off field dmg as well as a few attacks while you wait for stuff to come off cooldown.
When Zy0x doesn't write "Dehya is insane!" in the thumbnail, you know something's up (or down, in this case)

dehya is truly one of the characters that grinds my gears
I don't understand how some people are so adamant that Dehya was not designed to be a DPS When every sign is pointing to that being what she was designed to do. Signature weapon DPS focused, Constellations DPS focused, her ENTIRE BURST DPS focused. The only supportive utility she has is in her skill and even that isn't very effective when so many other characters are better at it while offering more to the team. Let's say she was a support, then HYV made a bad one because her kit, cons, and weapon aren't geared that way. What they made was a bad DPS but decided not to directly advertise her that way so they could have the benefit of the doubt on why her damage is so bad. But, of course, pull whoever you want. and if you don't care about neta, this wouldn't' matter to you
probably because hoyo builds her like a support. she had 4pc tenacity and the bell in her trial for the vibrocrystal event if i recall
she's more of a bruiser. she tanks and deals chip damage. The problem is the damage is too miniscule to justify
I've been using her with Barbara fischel and shenhe and I've been loving this team. Just constantly procing overload, vaporize, superconduct, electrocute and melt all at once

Overburn with Raiden and Nahida works really well, too. If you have full EM Raiden, Dehya and Nahida can comfortably keep up the burning aura so that Raiden will constantly proc overloads. Your fourth character is completely flex, but a vv shredder for Pyro damage is nice. Also, you can technically put Nahida on Crimson Witch in this team, because burning scales with the EM of the trigger, so Nahida’s damage is much higher this way.
Another team is a burn melt Rosaria. Same setup, with Nahida and Dehya, and then Rosaria can melt her entire kit, afk. You could use vv shred for cryo, or use Bennett. It’s really fun to watch enemies burn, then melt, without having to do much.
First step to building her is pressing L and switching her with xiangling
To be fair this can be applied to 80% of Genshin characters

Watching this video has made me realise how bad i have judged a character. It is my fault, as i shouldn't have listened to the "Meta" fanbase about how bad a character performs. They were wrong, and i was wrong to believe them. This has made me realise that perhaps...
Perhaps i treated Xinyan a bit too harshly, I'm sorry xinyan, you aren't that bad now that i look at dehya.
I know we all agree that dehya is suboptimal at best. The main question that lingers is why is she this weak? What possible benefit does this bring for mihoyo logically speaking?
So, I've tried to broaden my perspecive by speaking to people playing to other gacha games. Turns out having paid characters that are weak is not rare. I think most people, myself included, are so shocked because Genshin is our first and only gacha. But the thing is, gacha games release a ton of characters at a very intense rythm. So they can't and won't make all of them good or even just sidegrades, they will mess up some of them, unintentionally (incompetence), or intentionally (marketing manipulation, because if everything is good, people get less engaged in the long run...they create their own highs and lows). At this point, it doesn't really matter to know if it's intentional or not, because it won't change anything. It doesn't really change anything in games where the meta actually matters, so imagine in Genshin Impact, which is kinda just a visual novel in full 3D.
So why is Dehya so weak despite the fact that she was a long-awaited and beloved character? It's because of how gacha games are developped. For us that are not in the know about said developpment process, it's just a coin toss. We can assume that Archons will be good, we can assume that 5 stars will be at least decent, but truth is, there is no guarantee, and from our perspective, it's just unpredictable.
You can say because she's going to the standard, but some of them are good like Diluc, Mona, and tighnari. In Dehya's case it seems they tried something new but fail and decided to release her anyway
The thing is, you're looking for logic where there isn't any to be found. They just made a dogshit character to dilute the roster like many other gachas do from time to time to resource trap players. It's not rocket science. Does it suck? Absolutely, but it's a completely normal thing that happens in gacha games.

My reasons for pulling any character are mainly design and story with no regard for meta. I am a ningguang and Lisa user lol. So I pull a character and then look for ways to try and use them. Almost any other guide basically goes "don't pull for her" which is completely useless for me. So this guide was perfect for me.
The problem is that everyone should be usable. She is barely playable and you shouldn't be pulling for her because it send the message that hoyo will do this shit again.

2) her resistance to interruption doesn't last for her whole skill duration
3) If you get frozen in her burst prepare to wait out the full rotation because it will end immediately if you jump
4) she cannot heal your other characters nor is she a shield for them, they still take damage, so what stuff is she great at exactly?
Keep in mind I'm a double crowned Dehya main and I have her weapon at 90. Let's not lie to ourselves, she is underwhelming but at the end of the day pull for whoever catches your fancy

what weapon, artifacts and team do you use on her?
@@aliceigins6298 WG, Emblem with ER sands for main DPS with mona/kazuha/bennet (you can replace kazuha with sucrose, having some EM on dehya is good in this team),probably her strongest MAIN DPS team, but her personal dmg sucks so this team might not be enough even with high investment on some abyss floors.
Same build but with less ER and no EM in Xiangling/Kazuha/Bennet team, pretty strong team but lets be real Dehya doesn't do most of the dmg here, its more just that the rest of the team is so strong they can carry her.
WG, TOM with atk% sands in Ganyu/Nahida/Bennet, you don't burst with Dehya in that team, just use her as a skill bot to trigger burn on enemies to melt with Ganyu.

I don't believe anyone in several videos I've watched has mentioned it so, Dehya can dash during her burst and it slows/pauses her attacking so you can hit enemies from farther away or target/wait for certain elemental reactions. It makes it feel like you have control over her burst and feels way less clunky in my opinion. I run her with Nahida, Kuki, and Candace.

My story about me getting dehya:
First of all, I had just gotten my Wi-Fi back after I had moved my house, I played on a ps4 and I waited for the 3.5 update to load, I wanted yelan so badly but unfortunately her banner ended when I was moving to a new house. I then logged into my genshin account and I remembered I was close to pity but I didn’t know the exact number. I got all of my freemogems and went on the wishing screen. I really wanted to have cyno and even did a ritual for him to come home, I was not guaranteed because I got nahida then raiden right after. Little did I know I was in for the SHOCK of my god damn life. I done a ten pull and it was a five star. I was MANIFESTING the luck to get cyno, I thought I would get him, but then, I saw her, the dreaded red cat woman, appear on my screen. I was devestated, I didn’t know what I should react with. Was I happy or sad? I couldn’t answer my own question. I told my sister who I shared the account with, and she had the same reaction as me, i thought it couldn’t be even more bad than that, but I was wrong, SO WRONG. My older sister saw dehya’s design, dehyas 🫣bouncing like gelatinous balloons in the wind. She then said that I was NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY HER. She said if my mother were to see dehyas honkers, she would be devastated seeing me watch an animated pixel woman’s honkers on the tv. I sat there in despair, in shock. I was then diagnosed with depression the very same day. I had ruined my genshin account.

Deyha has provided me with something far more meaningful than damage, to ENJOY THE GAME for what it is again. I found myself this last year just coasting till the new character came out. Building them, dailys, freemogem farming. Everything felt like a chore. I've relearned to bask in my environments, engross myself into the story. Immerse myself into the world. Plus she looks dope with the Bell claymore.

Her kit is not bad. It's unique and actually *could've* been potentially good! But Hoyoverse seriously did her so bad. Her burst being unable to activate Xingqiu, Yelan, and Beidou bursts really hurts her a lot. Her skill has very slow application that you cannot do Burgeon with her constantly which could've been one niche for her to fulfill and actually become usable. Another thing, if her burst could actually refresh the duration of her skill similar to Kokomi's jellyfish, she could've been a least a bit better. But no! Hoyoverse doesn't give a f about her. They're sure that they're not going to make sales this patch since people used their credit cards on the previous Hu Tao/Yelan banner. Wishing that Dehya mains get their main buffed and fixed but knowing how they put effort into changing Raiden's skill wordings to justify her not working with Beidou, I doubt they'll touch Dehya's kit. Especially not when they're literally putting her on standard.

@@Saren_5 I understand they don't want a repeat of the "problem children" from the early days with Bennett, Xiangling, XQ and Sucrose (to a slightly lesser extent Fischl and Diona too) but making 4* characters be exclusive niche support for a couple of 5* characters is quite the overcorrection with Mika looking to be designed to be Eula (and possibly Yoimiya) support due how hard physical damage has fallen out of favour.
Regardless it's quite the ingenious marketing tactic to force dolphin/low spender player's to decide if it's worth that pulling for a C6 4* to buff a limited time banner C0/C1 5* (many end up taking the bait) while still getting a steady stream of money from the whales lol!

@@MozeFan they probably looked into how Raiden's first banner sells really well and how people often showcase her with Sara (on C6 ofc) and deal 6 digit dmg only on her initial hit. Because of that they maybe wanted to do it again with future characters.

Still can't believe they ended up doing her this dirty. She was such an iconic character one could look foreward to during early sumeru storyline. And now this... it's sad that a new 5* char can be compared to the bottom barrel of 4*s cause next to nothing of her kit has a good synergy with anything out there thus far. Gotta pity all the work that went into creating a character just to let her turn out this way in the end.

I think she might be used in "mono geo" with Itto, Gorou and Albedo. She may free the spot for Zhongli for the second team. I'm gonna use her like that if I ever lose 50/50 to her

Ganyu works really well for Melt Dehya. The problem with her melt teams is that Kazuha’s ult need to be infused with cryo,otherwise,your cryo application wont last the whole rotation
I think it depends on the character. I think Ayaka ult should keep it applied

Calling it now, they're going to make a water support in fontane that procs on bursts. To me it just looks like a lot of characters are being built on kits that require another specific character.
if her mitigation would be a lot higher so you wouldn't need to bring a healer or if she would heal everyone, then I'd be less disappointed. 😅

Nice, look what a full team can do. Sometimes, i often forget that a party has 3 other character slots, hahahaha, but dehya really utilizes her teammates, which is after all the reason we have parties of 4, so i appreciate dehya for reminding me of this
Dehya is Top 1 tall female pyro claymore 5 star character. She is brilliant
even tho she sucks, im still gonna get her, build her, not giving up on her cuz i like her character alot :D. this guide helped very much mr socks
I think Deyha is best in a overload team because of the way her punches lock onto enemy’s making the knock back not that much of a problem

Keqing and her are good for overload when Yoimiya and Raiden are not needed.

i use dehya and if yall got favonius greatsword. use it. its really good if ur using her for support
I just realized, if you use sacrificial greatsword, you’d be able to get 3 stacks of crimson witch because you can activate her skill twice. So you know… copium.

I literally got C1 dehya on accident. I first got her on neuvilette's banner and lost the 50/50, and I got C1 on normal banner using single pulls. I DONT EVEN LIKE DEHYAAAAA💀💀💀

And in this video game, there is this character that will be released soom that i think is pretty well. Pretty nifty. Quite fun, very cool. Like triple thumbs up.
