I am not sharing my company's name but one incident took place... a person got selected as an income tax inspector and he was on notice period just for fun.... damn he schooled our Assistant Director in front of like 100 employees
Let me repeat his exact words "*Sir ho gaya jitna bolna tha... yaad rakhiye ek income tax inspector peeche pad gaya to ghar bhi nahi bachega aapka*" and left with a sarcastic smile... then only i realised money is nothing in front of power.
money and power both goes hand in hand! if you compare western countries there govt. influence is less money i lot more powerful. ALso government job won't bring growth to nation its the business that contriube immensly to growth of nation. Just one instance cannot show the whole picture. Think about it a pvt persom earning 7-8 figure salary can beat inflation, has mobility, can do different ventures etc, etc..

I have worked for MNC for a year, the pressure and workload in corporate is unbeatable, however, it depends on the job role you are on. Though, Lately I have realised that this corporate thing is not my thing, thus, resigned after working for a year. Decided, either it would be govt job or will start something my own.
If you have left MNC to prepare for any regular govt. job like SSC, Bank then it's not a great decision. ❌
If you have left MNC to prepare for some premier govt. jobs like in state PCS, asst. professor or any lvl 9/10 job then its a smart decision. ✅

I am 35 years old SDE and have a ctc of 45 LPA ( soon gonna be 50 LPA) and my big brother is a central government doctor(MBBS) and receives group A scale salary.
He doesn't do any private practice or side hustle as it is illegal. He earns much lesser than me, but i really envy the amount of respect, stability, and extra perks that he enjoys. He goes to work at 8am and comes home by 5 pm, he enjoys with his friends and family, whereas i am stuck with either office work or upskilling myself on udemy, to save my job.
He also had the option to enter corporate hospitals and do private practice, but he chose not to (Which was the best decision of his life, according to him).
I absolutely love my work, but as i am growing old, this corporate jungle is taking a toll on me..

It's a very personal choice... if you are someone who is pragmatic, like to hussle, like meeting people and go around and at the same time you are willing to put in the work, go for private jobs... but if you want to chill, have a calm life, ok with less salary, prefer more stability... then go for government jobs... pros and cons on both sides
No cons on the govt side because the govt can take care of everything!! If something goes wrong with people who work in the govt sector they get help with money 💰 but in privet you will be laid off if you family face any problems and you choose family over company because in India there are no rules for company
@@HelloAditya101 open your mind and you will be surprised, I would recommend you watch some videos from Tanay Pratap on this topic and other youtubers. You will get some reality check, F.Y.I., In Metropolitan cities, people laugh on those who do government jobs until and unless you are an officer. You see not all government jobs are like IAS and class 1 officers. You can be posted anywhere, there is cast based promotion, mundane repeated jobs and no job satisfaction. I belong from a family where both of my parents were in Central Government Jobs. But none of them wanted me to do a Government job, my parents could never afford that nice phone, holiday, or gadget, post 25th, they would always looked at the month end for salary to get credited.. thanks to their wisdom, I am what I am now. Can't generalize it bro! Even private organizations have cons. There is stress, competition, fear of loosing job, constant need to improve. But you can take fancy holiday, buy that car and nice house and if you play your cards well, you can retire by 45. Both Side must be clearly understood and above all you should know yourself to take that decision.

Some person said government sector has no work ..being a banker in SBI we are dealing with too much work pressure daily basis. Subha 9.30 baje join kar raha hay aur rat ko 9-10 baje ghar lot raha hay

I worked 6 years in pvt and from last 1.5 year working in Central Govt. Job.
Yes there is very less creativity and competitiveness which i miss but at the same time you feel secure and stable so that you can take long term decision without thinking about ki job nahi rahi to kya hoga.

Immaturity. Government is all about service. Government is so competitive. Accountability is not their in government that is definitely backlog. Rich kids think that government jobs are boring but, intelligence agencies, policy making, DRDO, ISRO, many more engineering projects happen after government approval.
And each of this government sector get their work done by private sector as i am working in an It company which helped isro for its moons expiditon

My father has a profitable business but i’m thinking of government job just because i love to serve my country and i have no interest in engineering jobs. Inspiration came from my grandfather who did his job honestly.
Yes bro , What you said is 100% correct, my father was civil contractor, he did most of contract works from roads, irrigation panchayatraj dept. During and After corona pandemic, gov didnt pay any bills . Last 3 years was a nightmare to my family. No bills , need to pay bank interest for the over draft my father took. During the corona my father suffered from chronic kidney disease ( ckd) and was hospitalized. Really last 3 years we suffered like a hell

These things made me to prepare for govt job. Now I'm gazetted officer in Telangana.

It’s not that they don’t have skills but skills are not used properly in government. There is no option of switching jobs in government but in private switching or changing work is easy.
थोड़ा कम ही सही पर ठीक ठाक पैसा सरकारी आदमी भी कमा लेता है (Group B और उसके ऊपर की नौकरी में) और Tension free हो कर माता पिता के साथ बैठकर रात को भोजन करना यह सौभाग्य ज्यादातर सरकारी आदमी को ही मिल सकता है private को नही जो घर बार छोड़कर दिल्ली मुम्बई में 2 बायी 2 के छोटे कमरों में रहते हैं।

I've seen IIM IIT graduates earning in lacs leaving private job just for a post in SSC CGL (not even a Group A job). Money of course is a motivating factor but in private jobs you won't get the sense of freedom and happiness. It always a toxic culture in private job and you have to always upgrade yourself. Like after every 1-2 years you've to go find another job for better pay.

They are just fooling you or they are special students. I've never seen anyone with decent record in IIT IIM, ever going for anything less than PSC. Most of them try to go abroad. A decent graduate from these colleges must have package of more than 1.5 Cr after experience of 10 years. With proper planning, after 10 -15 years of work, their RoI (return on investments) should be more than the salary of a SSC job.

Being someone who worked in corporate sector for over a decade and currently working in government job in a respectful post I know the good and bad of both the worlds. In private you have high pay , growth potential and flashy lifestyle. In government job you have peace of mind and a sense of security plus the feeling that you are working for those millions of people who are marginalised and need our support and help

my friend was recently laid off from his company due to the recession in europe . He was earning 27lpa. It's been months now and he is still searching for the job. He enjoyed and traveled a lot when he had the money but now he keeps calling us for money. Govt job is better than pvt job any day.

People working in Private companies don't have knowledge as i have seen the video, they think that people working in Government Sector are less Skilled and have Job security I think they have heard something wrong because they haven't given any competitive exams that is why there situational awareness is very much low.

sorry bro but u need to check what is the level of question are asked in selection process of good tech companies ...whatever u people are prepairing for govt exam same things are asked but with 10x difficulties along with lots of technical stuffs...and people who are in engineering at the age of 20 yrs they have faced more competition than an average govt job aspirant who started preparation at the age of 24 years

If you belong to general category in govt jobs u can try and prepare hard for indian armed forces like CDS, AFCAT but within age limit . I as an engineering graduate tried one's and got rejected in SSB indian navy where age limit is 23. Thats why i am going to private sector. But s in armed forces exams there are no reservations or anything. If a person is capable physically and mentally they can try. "Remember govt or private u should be able to enjoy your work ". All the best.
