Idk but ours was always barely enough time to get your food and quickly scarf down your food 😮 no time left over to even rest or compose yourself especially if you've had a rough day 😕
As a HR Director, I’m going to have to check the policy on you bringing open flames into the workplace!! …let alone creating a toxic environment for the coworker who only has ramen noodles ❤😂❤😂❤
I work with a lady who brings a whole loaf of bread and all you need to make a BLT every day. She said she only eats “fresh sandwiches” and makes it right there during break. I respect her commitment to good sandwiches lol
There are ways around this that are simpler. Prep the bread, sauce and the filling and put all 3 in separate containers or a Bento box. The bread can be pre toasted or fresh- spread your sauce mix, put the fillings in, add more sauce and you're good to go. I use to do this all the time. Alternatively just add the wet ingredients at the last minute (tomatoes and sauces).
My husband has a single coworker that asks what he has for lunch everyday. Sometimes I pack an extra meal when it’s things like spaghetti and he is always so appreciative. Ngl makes me feel pretty good too!!
Pre-covid I was definitely this employee, except I didn't eat meat so I didn't have the chicken...but can opener, cutting board and knife, apple slicer, and strainer were all in my desk with a large bowl so I could make my meals at work 😂😂
When I lived on the farm I would have 12 hour shifts and 2 hour lunch break, I would always cook something on the tailgate of my truck I would bring all the ingredients with and on a duel element propane stove. Instead of driving home and back, but in the office with a live chicken had me 😂
Worked in a construction store, and they did have a proper kitchen, and yes, it's nice to have a place to like, make a sandwich and chop some salad or boil fresh pasta. One time some peeps were making dumplings lol
I live in the south of the US, where most of the time your lunch break is only 30 minutes, and then you get a ten minute break. Utterly useless, just give me a 45 minute break so I don't have to scarf down my food.
Lmao!! The way he flinched at the coworker killing the chicken, what are you still sitting there for? This is Hannibal Lecture level of preparation!! 😂😂😂 That salad was so fresh I'm surprised the veggies weren't also being plucked from a soilbed he also grows At work!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
Some of my coworkers cook simple meals in the staff kitchen. For me that is not the reason i go out to my car to eat. See, i work in customer service and i am just out of social juice from just "normal" work. I just want a quiet lunch in which i dont have to think nor talk, so out to my car with me!
I work at a petstore and I'm regularly incharge of prepping the fresh food for the animals (veggies and some fruits primarily) and I usually do it in the petcare area... but maybe I should do it in the break room just for flair
@@dandino8100 They offer both 15 min breaks and 30 min lunches. But the 30 minutes is only if you're there all day. Potatoes take 4-5min in the microwave

I do apologise if I have upset anyone Here in England UK anyone living on the streets is obviously called homeless and as far as I know won't be employed unless they have an address I really didn't mean any harm I'm humbly sorry 🙏
