- We got up early to explore Watarrka (Kings Canyon), where we admired and photographed the massive sandstone walls, vast canyon floor and stunning gorges. It was a 3-4 hour walk around the Canyon Rim, and we got to experience the beautiful Garden of Eden and learn more about the local Aboriginal culture. After lunch, we began our journey into Uluru National Park. We quickly set up camp before learning about the local Aboriginal History at the Uluru Kata-Tjuta Aboriginal Cultural Centre. Soon after we experienced our first awe-inspiring Uluru sunset, taking time to absorb the beauty and majesty of this place.
Cheers from Australia,
Jennifer and Elliot

ABOUT US
Hi! We are high school sweethearts from Atlanta, Georgia who decided to take a year off to travel around the world. Together we decided to create vlogs for our journey as a fun way to remember it. On September 15, 2019, we left Atlanta with 3 bags, 2 one-way tickets, and 1 goal of traveling for a whole year. Thank you for following us along our journey!

Looks amazing. What time of the year was this?
Oml this was so amazing
I went here and I felt like I was on the moon
Oh yes don’t forget about the fly nets
We've heard that if you go in the winter there's less flies and less heat so maybe that'll be next time :D
I’m heading there in a couple weeks with my wife, do you have to be in a tour to do the hike before sunrise ?
No I don’t think so... we didn’t have any special passes or anything. Would be best to check out the Park Service first though! Hope you have fun!

Whats the campsite called in Yulara? And also, is it okay to fly drone there?
Cheers
This was the Coach Campsite in Yulara goo.gl/maps/3uxLmWW4NiJH9sWK9 - We didn't have explicit permission per say but we did know that you are not allowed to fly it in the national park.
