February 17, 2018 - Cleveland Cavaliers forward Larry Nance Jr. churned out a second place finish in the 2018 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. Nance paid homage to his father, Larry Nance Sr., for his first dunk. Nance Sr. was the NBA's first official slam dunk champion in 1984. New school only have more tricks(because they have no new way to dunk). The best dunkers for me still goes to MJ, Wilkins, VC, Jason Richardson. MJ has grace and hang time. Wilkins has quickness and power. VC is smooth and creative. JR was as good as VC.
