I was born in 1981 on coxs lane trailer site in epsom, I grew up hearing all these stories of fighters with family members sitting round a fire telling the stories telling who was who and who could fight, I hope you get more of the old school travelling men on here telling their stories of fights. One thing I wish I could do is go back in time and watch every single fight
I read Jimmy's book around 10 years ago and was really impressed then, even more so now after seeing and hearing the man speak, wally also, they both seem like real tough men and true gentlemen to boot, great episode and great channel, keep up the good work 👍
Read Jim’s book years ago. Fantastic read especially the chapter dedicated to you Joe. Great show tonight. Joe who was the best golfer you ever played with 🙏👍
This channel is outrageously good, the calibre of man on here is unbelievable, I think once the channel grows a bit you should do all the interviews again a bit more in depth and more stories, the vids a only 20mins and there great but these men are dying breeds, On the cobbles such a good read one of the first books I bought
Jimmy bought me a pint in the rifleman many years ago after I’d taken a bit of a hiding from a group of blokes. Apparently he had known my Grandad (Ayers) years before. Great to see he’s still doing well!

Wally reminds me of little Joe Smith from Maldon who sadly passed away in the 80s. A little man but very very game. He looks like old uncle Joe
Wouldn't mind hearing Jimmy's view on the fight on the airfield between him and Jim Smith.

Disregarding their autobiographies, have you seen (or heard plausible stories) about Shaw or McLean on the cobbles versus credible opposition?
