Not just banned from having any football involvement (by the FA) for three years, but he's also been declared personally bankrupt on two separate occasions (last time being 2014). When he tried to buy Bolton, Bolton were in absolute dire straits at the time, and they said no to him. So the only time he's ever been a football club owner, was in 2011/2012 for about nine months (Watford).

Us Villa fans are loving it, but don't make me laugh they're a big club, Danny saying they have full houses, he obviously doesn't know and just made it up, the ground holds about 30,000, they bearly fill half of that for a home game, the only time the ground is full is when Villa turn up!! much as I hate them I do miss the derbys, the nearest derby this country has to Celtic Rangers for pure hatred of each other for me, people will laugh at that, but the next time we ever play them get a ticket and see for yourself, Liverpool Everton, Spurs Arsenal are great derbys but for pure hatred and passion nothing beats a Villa Blues derby.

Bassini and Birmingham city football club are a perfect match
Villa fan here. We all poke fun at the Blue Noses across the City, but they must really get their act together in Small Heath and try to find an owner who has the club at heart. There are a few celebrities from the city who could put together a consortium to buy the club out. Aston Villa and West Brom need a third club in the city to push things forward and add to the general positivity needed in the area. The Blues at the moment are a disgrace to the name of our once proud city.
