Our high school trainer was like that. Every time an opposing player went down, he ran out there to help. He'd been doing it for 40 years. His worst fear was seeing someone go down with a serious injury.
That's how it is when you play softball you are raised with excellent people who encourage you that even though they are your rivals they are people that also need to be treated with respect if you play you know how that is ❤️❤️

This reminded me of the game where it was a hockey game and the little kid fell and another kid on the other team helped them up
This shows how great sportsmanship is and how sports should be.

Part of sports is being able to knock people down, but then helping them back up. It shouldn’t matter what team they are.
