- I won three CZcams giveaway prizes over the past few weeks. I share the joy of unboxing these incredible giveaways. From send2georgie, a cornucopia awaited me, including a priceless dragon coin, enchanting First Day Covers adorned with Singapore's vibrant stamps featuring insects, birds, and other subjects, and a masterpiece engraved by the renowned Czesław Słania. The package also contained postcards capturing the adrenaline of Formula 1 races in Singapore, and other delightful surprises. That Dad Guy contributed lovely First Day Covers showcasing stamps with snow mammals, and other beautiful and interesting subjects. Chinese New Year imagery, and carnival carousel horses miniature sheets, along with a vintage postcard and loose Canadian stamps were included in the giveaway. Last but not the least, Philately, Nature, and Tech gifted an awe-inspiring collection of mostly mint Germany Berlin stamps, featuring captivating designs ranging from architecture and famous portraits to music, animals, birds and other magnificent designs. Join me as I delve into the beauty and significance of these remarkable prizes, expressing my gratitude to the generous channel owners who made this unboxing experience truly special, and for gifting me items that I will always treasure.

Dragon medallion is produced by the Singapore Mint to usher in this year 2024, Lunar Year of the Dragon.
This medallion is one of their carded series, issued every year since the early 2000s.
Many collectors would buy these as ‘hongbaos’ (money packets), to be given out during the Chinese New Year celebrations.

The Berlin stamps were issued for use in West Berlin until the unification of Germany after the Berlin Wall came down. Many of the stamps issued were the same design as those for West Germany, but with the addition of 'BERLIN' in the typography, so for example, the animal and bird stamps have West German equivalents without BERLIN, so that will give you something to look for. The same applies for the set one of which you said looked like a king and queen riding on a horse. This set is actually from a series on fairy tales. All of these were issued to raise funds for youth charities.
In addition to these 'twin' stamps, many stamps were issued only for use in West Berlin and had no West German counterparts. Examples of that are the 5 stamps with views of Berlin and the three stamps with statues. Hope that helps.
