I just watched an Amish channel there in Canada and their journey to pick the wild blueberries. They said they go for 2 or 3 days every other year. It looks like the same area and they used those scooper rakes. The Amish ladies love going to pick the blueberries because it's peaceful, a beautiful getaway from their normal responsibilities and they got to paddle board and swim after picking the blueberries. They look wonderful what a great treat from nature. It was very cute to see your dog eating the blueberries 💙✌️
What an amazing place to pick! When I was growing up, we lived on some acreage that had an old railroad bed; it was our driveway-1/2 mile long! You guys have some of the best adventures ☺️

Amazing! I didn't get out for blueberries this year. I have a short attention span so picking berries is hard for me lol. My backyard is however polluted with these weeds taking over (raspberries 😉). Baby girl absolutely loves picking them and eating. I will stop if I am out fishing and see some blueberries but it's been over a decade since I specifically went for them.

We used to go picking with my aunt and her family, always in pairs - one to pick, the other to keep the mosquitos off the picker!

Blueberries are my favorite. I have 5 trees. Birds will eat them ALL though so I cover them with netting that bees can still get through

It’s usually like that. You get the off year that isn’t great. That’s nature though.
